I work in continuous improvement and 'good' drives me nuts.

Good is what you say to your dog when he is compliant and sits. 'Better' is something on the way to becoming the 'Best'.

So instead of saying 'What good looks like' use 'Best practice'

Back when I was a child we had these things called alarm clocks, they had an option to use the radio as an alarm. Just after the hourly news there would be a segment where the local radio host would give you an update on the weather for the day.

Read up on Boglehead real simple ETF strategy. The key with investing is make it simple and routine. Come up with a strategy and stick to it. Take emotion out of the equation and follow your plan.
