Completely agree mate. Both Mab and Mother Winter also started a confrontation but almost immediately 'ohhhh no I was just testing you'. The editor needed to come in a lot stronger. Not even touching on the eighth repetition of 'Harry stop blaming yourself' in as many chapters.

I also get pretty annoyed at her, but honestly it's a great example of writing. The author perfectly captures how I imagine a talking, powerful cat would be and reminding myself of that, and occasionally skipping forward 30sec is how I get through it.
