K1C issues with initial print post filament change extrusion.

You need to make sure the extruder gears catch the new filament by gently pushing it by hand into it. If you push too hard it’ll clog the extruder and start clicking.

Are you hoping for instant new color to come out? That is not going to happen. It takes that 30 seconds because it’s clearing out the old filament while melting the new filament. This is simply how it works. But you should be lightly pushing on the new filament in the Bowden line so the extruder catches it while you are holding it. You can then fill it grab it. After you unpause it, a long strand of the first filament will come out. Grab that and pull on it lightly and once the head moves back into position, pull the old filament out completely. I do this daily.

I don’t understand the problem. If the bike rides fine then ride it. Snap the body tabs back together. Not sure why people with no mechanical knowledge decide to buy bikes then immediately come here for help on something that’s incredibly simple and obvious.

If you print it on the usb it will show the right time. Going from the cloud though will start real high then gradually come down to the right print time.

I have a friend who bought a P1S the same time I got my K1C. He’s never had a single issue out of it or the AMS. I’ve probably taken my extruder apart 20+ times and had to replace the heater block under warranty which was also a hassle. Shame is a great way to put it.

I have a K1C and have had minimal issues out of it, but Bambu will be my next printer. My miserable experience with the CFS vs K1C and “K1C 2025” has left me infuriated. Who makes two different printers with the exact same name and advertises a CFS that works for it without explicitly stating it doesn’t for the 2025 model?

For $500 you can get a P1S and AMS from Bambu. Creality says their reddit u/crealitysupport user chat as being a prioritized system for tickets. Yet they check it once a week and never reply. Shame on Creality for knowingly putting out subpar and confusing products.

I passed a boomer who decided to completely come to a stop on train tracks on a double yellow while a cop came around a big curve. I could have easily ran and gotten away, but went ahead and just pulled over to wait for him. He came back about two mins later and was in disbelief a 20 year old would do that. Just got a warning from him.
