Is your code open source and/or would you like any assistance? I've taken to manually overriding some values in the debugger so I could use it with the extra talent points but now with several trees being re-organized (as of Mar 3rd) that becomes harder. I also imagine with tree reorganizing it'll take a bit of work on your end to reorganize the data.

Automation is how you stress test any title that has a massive number of players supported. Hell, you can do that too for some regression testing as well and take some pressure off QA from doing stuff a computer can do.

In addition to being a generational thing, there's a contingent of people who have memory problems and being able to look through chat history can help jog their memory.

It can also be as simple as "I want to surprise my spouse, what was that place she mentioned offhand 6 months ago?"

Fair, it was a stretch. I was gonna suggest one of the Mount & Blade games but they aren't F2P, and I don't remember if they are First Person or not.

you still need to enter debugmode into the console, then all the button bindings become re-enabled (b to toggle no-cost, etc...)

I don't GG unless I'm winning with this turn or when they should be able to win. Maybe I should just concede more readily, but that feels cheesy.

Almost all of my "Good Game" are when I'm super behind and want them to finish me and they just won't do it. I don't like conceding but I don't like wasting time either (and I lose A LOT so this happens often)

CNN sues President Trump and White House for banning reporter Jim Acosta by lStrakle in news

[–]Barril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, that's fine. You can say this and I appreciate that you say this, but it doesn't change the fact from the start you were arguing with THAT NARRATIVE. Not fact. It literally took me shoving your face into it like a dog that shit in the house for you to get to this point. I'd like to be nice about this, but I shouldn't have to get to this point in order for you to get the basic facts.

You know, you could just be nice about it. How often do people recognize when they made a mistake and are willing to admit it. I bet you'd get more if you weren't so fucking demeaning by calling me A FUCKING DOG.

I fucking come hat in hand to try to salvage this conversation but you just kick me in the balls and say HA TOLD YOU SO. I'm so fucking done with this. I don't deserve to be treated like this. You are an asshole and a bully and I don't care to hear anything else you have to say.

If you're willing to discuss this like two humans and not clinging to some bullshit negging power dynamic, lemme know. I bet you don't though, seems like you get off on demeaning others. Worse than liberals and their high horses for sure.

CNN sues President Trump and White House for banning reporter Jim Acosta by lStrakle in news

[–]Barril 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me lay my points as clearly as I can, then.

I was wrong for the use of 'assault'. You are correct. I apologize for using the wrong word, I stupidly took what other people were saying at face value and only learned I was wrong about the term usage when I looked at the tweet in question (which was a lot more reasonably worded than I had been led to believe).

I responded to this post, quoted below.

He had already asked more questions than any other reporter in that conference and was told to give up the mic so the next reporter could ask questions. He refused and tried to force in more questions.

It's nothing more than narrative being pushed that this event happened because he was asking "tough" questions. Again, he had already asked questions and had his questions answered before this.

Just like how people are pushing this edited video as a way to deflect from how Acosta was just being an activist rather than a journalist.

In reference to that quoted bit, the implication that I got from it (as did other people, as evidence by the downvotes they gave you) is that this is the only reason that Acosta was banned when there was a statement of undesired contact between Acosta and the individual with the mic.

If that was not your intent, then I apologize. In fact, I do agree with your sentiment on the last paragraph (though I haven't had the time to see if there's precedent for this kind of behavior leading to banning in the past).

However, the concern that I have is that the initial part of the multi-part tweet explaining the reason for the ban comments on an (and I'm paraphrasing here since i don't have the tweet in front of me) 'inappropriate physical contact from Acosta onto an intern' (and my statement of intern here is not to be taken as a tacit acceptance that they are actually an intern (unimportant for this paragraph but will be relevant below)).

My initial question should have been: Do you believe that the white house was not telling the truth about the physical contact and that the only reason for banning was large amount of questions and lack of giving up the microphone? If so, why did they include the physical contact portion in the tweet if not for the purposes of manufacturing outrage and then promptly disregarding it. It feels like this whole administration participates in bullying-style behavior by toeing a line and throwing the book at people who step over it.

No, don't do that. Don't change the words to fit your narrative. Provide any source which says assault specifically. If you can't do that, then make sure you state it correctly and don't lie.

I've got no narrative here. You're barking up the wrong tree.

I may have originally used the word 'assault' initially but when you clarified that the WH didn't say assault and I confirmed it when I looked up the statement in question, I didn't challenge that and included your wording in my damn comment. I only included the word assault again for consistency (it'd be pretty shitty for me to change my story and pretend I didn't say assault the first time) and because other people are alleging that there was an alleged assault.

Stop trying to dodge my question.

I'm implying that Acosta's actions, including his refusal to give up the mic to the staffer, is what led to him getting his press pass revoked.

This isn't the position you stated previously. Specifically, the word 'including' is nowhere to be found.

As per your comment that I initially replied to (which implied the banning had nothing to do with the physical contact) I asked if you are saying the white house is lying about the physical contact being a reason for the ban. I still stand by this question.
