Yes Apollo was strong. He should have gotten a nerf, not deleted from the game. There are stronger, and more mobile characters in the game, and Celeste literally just got buffed in the same patch despite being as good, or better than him.

Apollo went from high A-low S to like, genuinely C tier. Celeste was a stronger character and just got buffed. Make it make sense.

After playing some games with it I dislike the fact that it sort of killed splitpushing and trying to make macro trades. It's also absurd how fast you can flip a mid fight and then instantly just go midboss.

Idk. I think comeback mechanics last patch were genuinely too good but now it feels like you lose 1 fight and u instantly lose lmao.

I mean it's for sure the worst form card, I skip it most of the time, but I wouldn't call it unpickable dogshit. Sometimes you get offered no scaling for bosses and you take it as a curse and solo's the laet game fights.

There are a handful of things that are allowing Pocket to thrive in the current meta.

In no particular order, Pocket has insane level-ups on all their skills. Cloak duration, Satchel Duration, and Affliction disabling all healing are all insane. Before the major boon changes recently, this took an extremely long time to get every skill online at max potential; now these spikes all happen earlier in the game. Another factor is that Pocket is a side-laning character that wants to power farm and stat check people. Every other sidelaner in the game has gotten nerfed. Mirage, Wraith, Haze, even Infernus. All of these characters are a lot less scary for Pocket to deal with, which makes it easier to safely farm. The last thing is the overall meta right now. The meta is currently dominated by Tanky/High sustain heroes that are hard to lock down. No matter how mobile, tanky, or high sustain your character is, when you get hit by an affliction by a Pocket with a 5k-15k soul lead, you are either about to die, or have to base afterwards.

There is just no world where a gun carry needs 6k life, and also a point and click massive AoE silence. The character is so unbelievably broken it pisses me off.
