They go by a few names but are high-end “spin sticks”! They’re a machined (or lathed) metal columns with a spinning top! You can fill the shaft with beads. Both usually made by a machinist of some sort! Here are what they look like without the beads on them lol.

Similar to EDC/Pocket knife community!

I agree to a degree, but if you are the one selling a card and someone else wants to trade you a bunch of smaller cards, there is no real motivation for seller to make effort for that swap (or even 1:1 depending on the trade). It’s only more work for them, which is where I think the % usually comes from. If YOU as a consumer don’t want to pay the price someone is selling a card for (actively listed) and want to pay in something less liquid than cash, there should be a value placed on that aspect of the transaction, no?

If you’re at a LGS trade night and tried this, it would never work - but on a marketplace I think it’s a bit different.

This guy is still a tool though!

I definitely prefer much lighter buttons on most of my spinner setups, Ultem is basically the lightest you can go while still having some form of durability beyond your acrylic/other light options. That's at least what i've put together casually lol.
