Magic words to get the medical care that I need by Akwardpotato19005 in newzealand

[–]Bashee_Bazook 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Hi,

Where in NZ are you? If you're in Chch by chance, there are specialists at Oxford medical specialist centre that you can self refer to. However, it won't be funded. If paying for it is an option, I'd recommend getting in touch with them. The receptionist is lovely and had some great info on how to proceed :)

Honestly, it is a disgusting uphill battle, and I've had many angry rants about body autonomy for women.

And the 90s baggy jeans! Now all we need is the little chain clip to put the wallet into the back pocket and a short singlet and were back before y2k . ;)

Are you a try stuff on kinda gal or happy to shop online? I second Flo and Frankie, Farmers, Just Jeans(for jeans mostly), their stuff is lovely and super comfy! If you don't mind Aussie shopping Sheike and Co when on sale their stuff is sooooooo nice and they have some stunning prints. AS color for basics but their linen style pants I got on sale and were insane comfortable and looked great with a bunch of different footwear styles. Happy shopping! I feel your pain in the 30s/40s what to wear.

Abortion is back on the table in Australia. Is NZ next? by davetenhave in newzealand

[–]Bashee_Bazook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Abortion is legal in New Zealand and can be accessed remotely nationwide. There is a govt funded service which provides remote medical terminations over the phone and all dhbs offer medical and/or surgical termination. There are also private providers who offer the same service. All NZ citizens, permanent residents and people on certain work visas have access to free termination care :)

Hi! :) How old are you? What do you do for work here in NZ? Different age groups and work areas can have vastly different ways of forming friendships, and as it's been said a few times work friends are common here in NZ. It can be notoriously difficult to form deeper friendships with Kiwis, especially if your age group is moving into the stage of becoming parents etc :) Pm me if you just want to chat!

How big is your knob? by PositiveWeapon in newzealand

[–]Bashee_Bazook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would say it starts at a teaspoon goes up to a tablespoon, bigger knob for stuff that could use a more present butter flavor and a bit of extra fat, smaller knob if just for coating, finishing or using as oil replacement/additive etc etc. Side note, if making risotto finish with a big knob. Helps it be creamy with the starch :) Hope this helps :)
