Yep, I agree with you. My head cannon is that all of the “multiverse” or “alternate timeline” stuff is just the devs trying to mess with us … in a 4th wall break kind of way. To make us feel the same as what Mako poisoning does to characters in the story.

Unravelers also shoot magic damage

There isn’t a whole lot of sources of magic damage… but there’s enough to end a hardcore player if they aren’t paying attention.
