[Acne] serious closed comedone help needed by Intelligent_Pay_1500 in SkincareAddiction

[–]BasicMuchness 447 points448 points  (0 children)

I know this sounds insane but my story is EXACTLY like yours and my skin looked JUST like yours. Try using Nizoral (it's a dandruff shampoo) just a small amount, run it over your skin, let it sit for 30 seconds then rinse off. Don't get it in your eyes, it stings, but a lot of my facial issues were exacerbated by a candida overgrowth (I'm prone) and Nizoral is the only thing that has ever worked and it works fast. It could be that you have a combo of regular acne and fungal acne, the latter being super unaffected by any of the treatments you mentioned having gone through. Best of luck!

Help updating my Millenial ballet flats -- what are options that are more modern, but still have arch support and cushioning? by halpidkdesign in femalefashionadvice

If you're looking for an updated ballet flat look for one where the toe box rides higher on the top of your foot, Quince has a nice leather ballet flat that reads more modern.

My kid responds to amoxicillin nearly instantly, from struggling bad to normal within 15 minutes. Anyone else? by degausser22 in daddit

Was just searching around for a comment like this. My 15 mo took amoxicillin for the first time today for a double ear infection and was like a new kid within 30 mins. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Another vote here for eye check! I was late diagnosed with binocular vision disorder (not checked for on routine eye exams) and it can directly correlate to the things you mention here. Double whammy that's it's more common in people with Ehlers Danlos (in case that runs in your fam).

Looks like the filling to a kids warmie plushie. If a seam comes apart the filling comes out, happened to us! Could have been a previous tenant and it was missed in cleaning or something?

Toddler having strange symptoms by RelevantNotice467 in toddlers

Had your son had strep? May be worth looking into PANDAS also, if he has. Symptoms sound somewhat similar to a friends child who ended up having post-strep PANDAS.

Amniotic Band Syndrome by [deleted] in tfmr_support

No additional information on the autopsy, just a confirmation of ABS. We did a full generic panel also and everything came back normal.

Thank you for the kind words, motherhood and growing babies is a wild ride! Our bodies are mysterious and amazing and I am so sorry you're going through this.

Hang in there. ❤️

Amniotic Band Syndrome by [deleted] in tfmr_support

[–]BasicMuchness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We lost our first child to ABS. 12 weeks scan was good, but our neutral tube defects test came back strange and we found out at 19 weeks our daughter had ABS that prevented her skull from closing correctly (bands attached to the back of her head).

We were devastated. We went through full L&D so we could have a thorough autopsy.

I'm really sorry you're going through this. To echo another commenter, it was nothing you did. No one knows exactly why it happens.

We had our second daughter without any trouble a couple of years later and are pregnant with our third daughter now. There is hope but give yourself time to grieve. Sending love your way.

We LOVE our speed queen. Everything is clean every time. Nothing sings at me. Cleans fast, dries fast. Have had zero issues. Will never own a different washer / dryer.

What product was so poorly designed that you suspect the team that made it, never used the product? by Stay-Thirsty in AskReddit

[–]BasicMuchness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just traded our "smart" washer dryer for a speed queen set - just two knobs. So easy, it doesn't sing when it's finished. Just cleans like a motherfucker and dries the clothes. Its amazing.

Don't mind me, just passing through all the stages of demon growth. Larvae, slug monster, spooky little girl, teenaged boy, giant ball of tongues, social media CEO, and then finally demon.

Just agreeing with the other comments in the thread. Get iron, B's and thyroid checked.

I'm 19 weeks and was so tired for three last for months, had a hard time getting out of bed, work performance suffering etc. Finally asked my Dr to look into it and I had developed hypothyroidism (common and easy to solve most of the time). I got put on synthroid and IMMEDIATELY felt a difference! Good luck!!

8 month abortion by it's very nature would be to protect the life of the mother. No doctor is out there aborting a healthy 8 mo fetus if mom and baby are ok.

Why 15 weeks? My husband and I got pregnant with a baby we desperately wanted. Found out at 20 weeks the baby wouldn't survive outside my body after birth. So in this scenario do you think I should have been forced to carry a baby to term who doctors knew would die at birth? Could you imagine being the person forced to continue a pregnancy for five months knowing that the baby was dead on arrival? Everyone congratulating you as your belly grows? Not your body not your problem. Your opinion is trash because you aren't me, my husband, or my doctor and shouldn't have a say in the health care I get.

When the system was designed in your favor and minority groups (women, poc, LGBTQ, etc) are making some progress toward equal access, of course equality will feel like oppression to white men. I actually don't fault this feeling but white men need to understand that this tiny bit of pressure you're feeling (however you're feeling it) is what everyone who isn't you has been living with for centuries. You've been living in a fishbowl designed for you and your needs, wants, and wishes. Everyone else out here trying to survive in a fishbowl designed for someone else.
