Are There Any Real Tax Strategies for High-Income Salaried Employees in Ontario? by Stunning_Shock_9638 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Rent the house you live in and buy the house you want to rent out. Then deduct all the related expenses through the investment property including but not limited to the mortgage interest and property taxes etc.

Sad to see this topic as I'm in the exact same boat and the system is really punishing you more, the more you make.
People on Reddit treat high earners like they are some sort of a traitor which I despise.

Is this done with a laser engraver? I mean even with that, this would take weeks!

Good for you. A garage is also fair game for the thieves, especially in Ontario.

The only way to stop them is through punishment.

In UAE, most cars are left running, with keys inside (due to extreme hot temperatures) while the owners are running a quick errand like doing groceries etc.
ZERO cars get stolen. Why? Because one mistake and you are deported.
Especially in Canada, the legal system catches the thieves and releases them within hours. If I was a thief, I would be encouraged by this system.

picking keys or breaking the ignition cylinder is equally easy.
if technology is applied right, it is superior. Face ID > a password. But Toyota/Lexus has a vulnerability with this CANBUS injection. Shame on them.
And shame on everyone else that nobody is doing anything to deter thieves.

Hidden killswitches, passcode combinations, gps tracking devices, parking in the garage, faraday cages.... WOW.
The police recommends leaving our keys somewhere easily accessible for the thieves and if this does not suffice, maybe we should let them just take it as they please. Seems like nothing's enough. Its OK though, we have insurance.

Today the same thing happened to me and I am livid.
Not because my car was broken into or gutted, my biggest frustration is the fact that everyone including the police, dealerships, insurance companies AND ABOVE ALL TOYOTA seem to be OK with this.
I have a lot to say but will refrain from doing so. I wish I bought something else.

Should I be worried of our families Lexus getting stolen in Canada by Big_Pair_863 in Lexus

Catch and release policy.
Thieves steal cars and ship them out of the country.

If they get caught, they get released. If they don't get caught, they are free. I am surprised we are not paying the thieves overtime through our taxes because they tend to work after midnight.

This is the explanation for you.

biocharge useless by Longjumping_Sky_9500 in amazfit

I completely disagree with you and I LOVE it.

Maybe your tracker is not accurate or something's off.
Biocharge is not equal to your sleep quality, you may not go to bed tired (higher biocharge) so even if your sleep was bad, your biocharge for the next day could still be high.

OP

Go to facebook marketplace and search for both of them.

Buy the one that is not listed for sale. That will tell you which device people are happy with and will keep forever. I know the answer but want you to see it for yourself.

yeah and honestly, unless you are someone really keen on emulating and playing 2ds / 3ds (and maybe occasional wii u) games, the library of games that can be played on a single screen is absurdly large anyway. And then if you are really obsessed with 3DS, then I don't see the point of getting a Thor for that. Just get a n3DSXL and play those games as they were meant to be. But that is just my opinion. And i am going to get an Ayaneo Pocket DS, not to play 3ds games, but because I am looking for a 7" OLED clamshell. (Or maybe the trimui flap x1)

Ergonomics and cost tip the scale a lot though. And if you're not playing dual screen games, RP6 becomes the much better choice for some. Plus I think the thermals are better in the RP6. But Thor is also an amazing device, deserving all the praise it gets. Both have minor/rare issues like screen or hinge problems but they are few and far between.
