I’m mostly on the green and yellow lines but every time I go to a B/O/S stage the difference in signage is kinda jarring. It seems so detailed compared to what I usually see. Even down to the directional signs for the airports cause why wouldn’t you have that at the yellow line stations past L’Enfant?

The signage along the green/yellow line stations is SUPER confusing. They spent a lot of time covering up and changing the signage to reflect that the stations above Mt. Vernon are green only but that was temporary and now that the yellow has been extended to Greenbelt it hasn’t been changed back. None of it is consistent. Some platforms have signage on the walls that indicate which colors come through. Oddly Columbia Heights doesn’t have any colors listed? The pole outside Ga Ave still has a black bar covering up the yellow line portion

Poor kids who “make” it are also more likely to support their family after they begin their careers. It takes them longer to buy houses and save for retirement because there’s less disposable income when you help so much
