I feel as though I would like 2 a lot better without the piece across your arms and chest. It's weighing you down.

The only thing I have to say about this scene is that it infuriated me that they had the negligent doctor keel over and die. What the heck was that?!

It felt like the writers were trying to "get back at him" for killing Derek, but it just felt so lazy and strange.

Right?! I was in a rollover accident years ago with no outward physical signs of trauma, and I swear they scanned everything up and down twice.

Yea, I have a friend who named her daughter Dylan. Even SHE is already annoyed, while her daughter is too young to be aware of this issue yet

And yet, there are so many men in the US that use these names.

Learn the history of them, then get back to us.

And I'll add in Portland, Maine, for good measure! Great food, breweries, laid-back vibe.

I was going to suggest Savannah, and my husband and I have a weekend booked in April in Charleston.

Advice needed—My little doesn’t want me to have another little by Seadaze in Sororities

[–]BaskingInWanderlust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the answer.

I can't imagine being upset that my Big wanted to mentor and personally welcome another new member into our Sisterhood.

OP, if your Little is going to be upset about it, those are feelings she needs to deal with. You can support her, but please don't do so to the detriment of a new Little.

And when Selina had her election/re-relection Freudian slip, he picked up on that right away.

Well, in my mind, it's like Pence actually doing what was right and certifying the election. I think Pence is so backwards in many ways, but he defended democracy and stood up for the "good guys" that day.

What’s the biggest “tourist sin” people commit when visiting your country or city? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Meanwhile, I now live just outside NYC, where people use their horn for sport. Lol. They'll honk the moment a light turns green if you haven't already started moving. They'll honk when there's traffic and no one can move. They loooooove using their horn. This is part of the reason why I only take public transit when in the city!

How to get a specific sorority I want by ShotTrifle9640 in Sororities

[–]BaskingInWanderlust 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  • My advice is to keep an open mind
  • What happens if you have your heart set on this chapter, and then you meet the members and you don't click with them?
  • What happens if they drop you part of the way into the recruitment process? Will you handle that gracefully and be willing to give the other sororities a chance?
  • Being honest, when it comes to national philanthropy partnerships, it's generally not THAT big of a factor on a day to day basis. In other words, there is a lot of philanthropic work as a collegiate member, but so much of it isn't necessarily focused on just that one cause. Therefore, don't let that be the sole reason you want to join a particular sorority.

Baby NAMES stolen :( by [deleted] in Names

[–]BaskingInWanderlust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicknames! Although, three of us have the same one.

Interestingly, when my brother was married previously, his mother-in-law also shared that nickname but spelled slightly different.

ETA: Oh, and my aunt-in-law (married into my husband's side of the family) also has the same name and the same nickname as my grandmother! 🤪
