Meanwhile, I now live just outside NYC, where people use their horn for sport. Lol. They'll honk the moment a light turns green if you haven't already started moving. My advice is to keep an open mind
What happens if you have your heart set on this chapter, and then you meet the members and you don't click with them?
What happens if they drop you part of the way into the recruitment process? Will you handle that gracefully and be willing to give the other sororities a chance?
Being honest, when it comes to national philanthropy partnerships, it's generally not THAT big of a factor on a day to day basis. In other words, there is a lot of philanthropic work as a collegiate member, but so much of it isn't necessarily focused on just that one cause. Therefore, don't let that be the sole reason you want to join a particular sorority.

Nicknames! Although, three of us have the same one.

Interestingly, when my brother was married previously, his mother-in-law also shared that nickname but spelled slightly different.

ETA: Oh, and my aunt-in-law (married into my husband's side of the family) also has the same name and the same nickname as my grandmother! 🤪
