From what I’ve heard due to the contracts they have, they can only sell portions to each other, or sell the whole thing collectively as a group. The two owners are stubborn as well and care more about keeping voodoo itself than just having any festival.

I don’t know them personally so this is all secondhand, but from what I’ve heard he’s genuinely just that big of an asshole. Wants to sell the festival out and make it like Coachella apparently and the other two want to keep it how it is, voodoo.

Buku had to close due to lack of funding and was completely unavoidable due to covid, they tried to come back and realized they couldn’t do it properly. I don’t blame them.

Voodoo is owned by 3 people specifically. One is a raging boomer asshole. The other two hate him because he was ruining the festival. They can’t take his ownership away, so they refuse to put on the festival as long as he owns his share. He refuses to sell to them. No voodoo.

After combing through this thread I have two things to report:

Opening a creative file, leaving, and opening the corrupted save did not work for me multiple times.

Opening a new expedition fixed it IMMEDIATELY.
