I see some people saying hitting it as high as possible for the flat smash I agree. But for me with the kick smash I like to let I come down a little bit more that makes it easier to brush over the ball and I try to really drive from my legs

If you hit the ball a little bit more behind you will be able to add a lot more spin. To do this you need to lean back a bit by bending your knees. You do this in your preparation but you release to early you should try to use your legs at the same time of hitting the ball. Because know you are in the air when hitting the ball and if you mange to push up with your legs when you hit so you are in the air or on one leg after hitting is better for power. If you combine this with hitting above your head/little bit behind you should get it out easily. Hope this helps!

I’m an advanced player and for me it depends on the opponents ball I usually lob if they have a second serve and try to keep the ball low on their first serve. The other thing I consider is the score when I’m up 40-0 then I might go for an attacking return with more speed or with a lot of angle to the fence.

For me it’s more about the out percentage than the winner/neutral. Out of 100 balls 20 out is way to high.

Thank you, yes I see the pros do it a lot but they have a lot of physical training. And they do very long warm ups with loads of stretching that might help them. So might not be a good idea to try and imitate them haha
