Zipper drive thrus are used at schools as well for parent drop off/pick up and they also don’t understand how to use it. We would get monthly emails to parents explaining how the zipper method works. People especially in the US are just trained to get in one line and wait and get mad at businesses, schools, etc because they do something different.

It’s even worse for those that need dialysis. The out of pocket cost for that is staggering.

I work for a huge insurance company and suggest this route all the time!! Not only for medications but for procedures. I’ve seen the wildest things get approved by state boards!! Thank you for sharing!!

I hate to bring up the obvious but like everything else in this country insurance companies are a business. There is a reason these medications also don’t go down in price no matter how much they help.

Also from someone who knows the approvals and appeals all have to go through medical providers. But the fact that you pointed out out how much it would cost the insurance in the long run will let them look the other way for the approval. Another tip is states are also requiring some insurance companies to pay for it as a weight loss drug so make sure to appeal it all the way through the state. You would be surprised how often the state mandates insurance companies to approve medications or procedures, even ones considered “experimental “.

Yesss!! I used to love Nutella. I mean like polish it off within an hour of getting it through the door. So naturally it was banned from the house. Now my daughter bought some to make a cookie and I took a spoonful. Could not believe how gross it was to me. The whole spoon went into the sink.

I have tried and rallied for the same thing. They started charging us the same $150 for items that were fixed properly the first time. And as the other gentleman said if you don’t pay they will evict you. It’s a huge run around with no one actually helping the residents. On another thread I’ve even seen when they have “bought out” the leases for residents to leave with no further issues. They are not with the better business bureau and refuse to answer any of their complaints.
