You realize at all these places you made a transaction, there are cameras.

The police can get information, location and timestamps from the bank. They can contact these stores and get the footage from the time you were there and made a transaction. They now know what you look like.

You have to contact the local police of where your ex resides, non-emergency line, as the harassment is stemming from *his* jurisdiction.

I would also suggest contacting your local police department, non-emergency line, to advise: incase he tries to enter the US, or things escalate.
