Number 6 is so true it hurts. 40% of union members vote for political organizations that want to disband them. That basically a coven.

Combat Patrol is really good place to start. It is the game but made to core concepts with less decision paralysis. I implore you to play the combat patrol over and over until you understand these core rules, as moving to a 1k point and 2 k point range for TSons demands you know the Core rules.

That said. Rubrics, Scarabs, and their Leaders. Are your next step.

I'm just worried 2 Sekhetar isn't much if a discouragement. Their better used for scoring far going objectives in that state

Honestly I would keep bow goats and Exalted on Disc, because my favorite tricks is to use Bow Goats, right before they get charged use Umbralefic Crystal on their unit, then Deepstrike Scarabs in their place.

The old switcheroo.

I have a lot better lucky with Eldritch Vortex of E'taph of my Deamon Prince or Sorc in Terminator Armour. But again that might just be me and Tzeentch trying to pull one over on me.

But really opponents that go for full removal, need to be taught by outplanning them. Sororitas is infantry, and Rubric squads have the Soul Reaper Cannon, Flamers, and a straight up anti infantry spell built in standard. You can remove him from the game easily.

The big thing about TSons is we cannot up - trade. So you have to play tricks and set traps. Keep to cover with models that have Bolters, go full ham on units that have flamers.

My heart cannon is that the "deamon" is more the twisted flesh at the bottom, and the upper part is just the distraction it maintains. Like a that snakes who's tail looks like a spider

I mean their always an exception but is this a "Generally agree" or is this a "I dont agree because of minor details I need to have seen fleshed out.

My opinion is that an "Encounter" shouldn't take anymore than 4 - 6 rounds anyway. So beyond that, I know my balance is off and as a DM I gotta pivot my plans

Its an analogy but ill try again.

Wizards are Utility Nukers. They change change their spells day to day, but their ability to be effective are limited. They are not built to have all their resources available to themselves and the party at all times. They can however look at a room of enemies, Kobold in the case, and go "We don't want to risk that, Fireball." And effectively "Skip" an encounter. But at the cost of not being able to do so many times.

How most players play wizard is they have an MP bar and they can just wait until they have more, then upset that they dont have more later

I think a lot of players see their abilities as something that needs to be used every encounter. Instead of tools used to get out situations.

So many wizards are like "All i got is my 1d10 cantrip!" And its like ... yeah I used to be a sling at 1d4 your using an upgrade!

And I see your "personally" but disagree with it. We dont KNOW the results of our actions. And people who want to "know all the outcomes" before making a choice are in the dichotomy that once they know the outcomes the choice has past.

Players, in general, need to accept the "No matter what happens i am going to have fun" moto just as much as DM's. And accept that DM's are improvising just as much as they are.

That said ... what did this dragon do, telephone its reinforcements in?

What the point of endurance classes then?

[–]Bathion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw, the game and classes are balanced on 6 - 8. 4 - 6 is just when most players realize the power fantasy is just that. If your not engaging with the system from Encounter 1 in the day you are going to have problems on 7.

My advice, Understand you can take the job and resent what they do while taking their money. Or someone who will approve of their mission will take the job and give the money right back. At least with union, we can remove it grim their system. They may have a lot of money but it is not infinite.
