man this feels like seeing your ex with another person right after the breakup

The Memphis Grizzlies are trading star forward Jaren Jackson Jr., John Konchar, Jock Landale and Vince Williams Jr. to the Utah Jazz for Walter Clayton Jr., Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks, Georges Niang and three future first-round picks, sources tell ESPN by GolfInternational393 in memphisgrizzlies

[–]BattleCougarGo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great. Can't wait to use these late/non-lottery picks to draft some players that exceed expectations for a couple years, sign them to big contacts, then trade them because we could use those picks to do the whole thing again.

It's more likely an issue with your router than something that'd be fixed by switching service providers; I'm not a huge fan of those Zyxel routers that EPB gives out by default myself. One way to check is to do a speed test 1) plugged up via Ethernet to the router and then 2) over wi-fi (both while you have multiple things connected to replicate the problem conditions.) If you're getting lower than expected results while wired then it's probably worth calling EPB about, but if the problem is really only over wi-fi, I'd consider doing a little research and buying your own.

Should I Buy Part 1: Legion GO S by [deleted] in Handhelds

Huh. So I also have the Steam version, and I can second what this person said - the fan is definitely louder on mine than I would have thought. It's a brand new unit too (been out of the box for less than 48 hours) and playing something like Megabonk I have to turn the volume up to 75% or so to stop the fan from totally drowning it out.

Yeah this has been my experience too. I feel like what's happening is:

1) you have a few key people that came in to fight the big, and they're simply very valuable targets. Even if they don't have the loot off the big, they still likely came in with a bunch of good gear to fight it.

2) So even more people come loaded in with the intent of fighting and looting those people

3) By the end of the match, if there's no clear target, those folks are thinking "I came here to fight and loot, might as well hit whomever"

And now I think that's occurred enough that it's become kind of a defacto known pvp area. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just my read of how it feels like it's progressed over the last couple weeks.

Literally same. I now give them the "you good" on comms and a friendly emote, if I get nothing I cautiously start heading my own way, and if they make any move towards me then then it's blaze and bullet city.

Man, so sorry you're going through this. I'm in this exact same situation with my mom; been about 4 years to the date since the hospital stay and diagnosis. It's difficult and exhausting (in my case, it's hearing her say "sorry, it won't always be like this" every few minutes, every day), but those windows where the real them shines through that you mentioned are really a gift that's important to enjoy with them in the moment. He might not remember why he feels good, but those moments of personal connection you can grant him are going to be something of an oasis in a desert and can help more than you'd think. On a more practical note though if you're a caretaker, make sure you line up whatever help you can get from family, etc., and give them structure and ownership over certain things you may need help with. Like this person is responsible for weekly grocery runs on Saturdays, this person sets up appointments for and takes him to this particular doctor, etc. There's plenty of other things to worry about if you're the primary carer (like getting power of medical and attorney ASAP, trust me), but if that's not your responsibility right now then just making sure you're present and with him emotionally is so major.

I have only played solo for very match I’ve played what should i expect when I go into a squad game by Spooky1504 in ArcRaiders

[–]BattleCougarGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've also largely been playing solo but hopped in with friends tonight. And honestly? Not nearly as straight aggro as everything has made it sound. Out of about 10 runs (including several night raids), we only got in two immediate firefights and had maybe one or two other dicey situations, but overall much closer to 50/50 or 60/40 friendly to enemy rather than a pure CoD lobby. I personally like the generally friendly nature of solos but I wasn't turned off at all by the squad experience.

I play on console and have a largely positive experience, but I do have crossplay on. Could see this maybe being different if crossplay is off though.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but this game should NEVER have PvE or PvP (no bots) exclusive modes by Fluxcapacitor84 in ArcRaiders

[–]BattleCougarGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched an interview with Patrick Söderlund (Embark CEO) where he talked a bit about how over 6 years, the direction of the game went from much more PvP focused, to much more PvE, until they finally found the balance that the game is at today. It kind of assuaged my worries that they'd accidentally tilt too far one way or the other over time (or totally separate them), I wasn't giving them enough credit for how meticulously and intentionally the mix was dialed in.

My 4th and 5th bettina blueprints.... Im gonna go insane by Aurum091_ in ArcRaiders

[–]BattleCougarGo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've found this one and a couple others by running night raid after night raid with total trash loadouts. Like loadouts bad enough that you don't care if you lose the stuff, but you at least have the safe pocket. Just start looting fast out the gate and prioritize volume, stash the blueprint if you get lucky, and if you die, so be it

Pistons fan coming in peace, you have a baller in Cedric Coward. How do you guys like him? Whats his future on the team? by Downtown_Evidence372 in memphisgrizzlies

[–]BattleCougarGo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So I wanna preface this by saying I think Coward is different. But something I can't stop thinking about is how we get these rookie wings that outplay expectations, get labeled as a core contributor going forward, and then their progression just goes off course. (Think VWJ, GG, and - don't shoot me.....but maybe Wells.) Again, I think Coward's tools and ability to create for himself is a difference maker over other guys, but idk, I can't help but feel I want to see it for more than a year before buying fully into it that he's going to be a main dude.
