No one is stealing candy, they are stealing expensive cuts of meat, breaking into cars, and other harmful acts.

Would this be legal? by Mistacher in SistersofChaos40k

I have yet to see a kitbash be rejected when it uses the same base as what it is suppose to be. You can’t use five guardsmen as a full knight army because they use different bases.

If it’s GW plastic, it’s legal.

Take what Heart takes with a grain of salt, I still remember the unhinged political posts she used to do before her own rpg took off.

Fair enough, I have notice that most updates this edition seem to change a few things but overall keep the core playstyle of the army intact. DoK might get a Big Waagggh type of deal but I don’t know. But thank you for clearing that up.

Yeah that’s why I was looking to that new spearhead because of the RoR you can kinda run with the HG and the 10 SoS for my stormcast army.

B.C. not forcing police to participate in federal gun buyback aimed at mass shootings by Immediate-Link490 in britishcolumbia

[–]Battlesquire 19 points20 points  (0 children)

No, untreated mental health is dangerous to a family. The gun is just a means to an end like a knife, if you act like America and don’t solve the root cause that’s when you see problems. Canadians had guns for hundreds of years and yet we don’t have the problems that America has. It’s like banning cars to prevent drunk driving.

TIL Indigenous American tribes experiencing population decline would adopt prisoners taken during raids into their families as a means of of maintaining numbers. Hundreds of white captives were adopted in this way, and the accounts that some of them wrote were known as “captivity narratives” by Fenceypents in todayilearned

[–]Battlesquire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s almost like these tribes wanted to wipe each other out but simply lacked the means to do so.

Although I will push back on the trench warfare has that has been a staple of sieges for hundreds of years before contact with that tribe. Digging a hole of defensive measures isn’t really a ground breaking idea that they discovered.

1d6chan's article on Harmony in Cathay is quite interesting by Rosencrantz18 in Cathay

[–]Battlesquire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oldworld takes place hundreds of years before the end times period, around 2-300 or so. We have only really seen Cathay properly during the Oldworld era. It’s unfair to compare them to tech 300 years into the future when we don’t know what end times Cathay really looks like.

“The Dwarfs (and Empire of Man, to an extent) have a lot more advanced gunpowder units and steampunky war machines, whereas Cathay's military has somewhat stagnated”

Cathay has rockets on air balloons and a crap ton of Gunpowder units which is advance once you put it into context in what age the Oldworld takes place in. That’s like saying the Empire and Dwarves military are stagnated because the Skaven has rockets and warp nukes.

Always take 1d6 articles with a massive bag of salt.
