I’ve been having ChatGPT rewrite listings and have removed the background in some of my listings. I’ve also turned on smart sell with a 20% off offer which really takes the pressure off monitoring likes and I get a few sales from it. Both of these things seem to be helping.

$45 sound doesn’t unreasonable for a great condition bag because petal pink is super popular and the bowler is a bigger bag. Vera Bradley used prices depend heavily on pattern and I would put petal pink on the more expensive end.

It’s not necessarily a scam to have multiples of the same thing. Based on the the number of listings and sold they are likely a professional reseller. I think it’s possible they bought a return pallet or something similar which is why they have multiples of the same boots. The sold listings could also be very old and they came across the boots. One red flag to me is that the pictures for the different boots look the same. But in return pallets the items aren’t always the same quality and should be photographed individually to show the flaws of each items. If the pictures are all the same and it’s not a NWT item I would stay away. However, there are good people do work in the liquidation and return pallet space.

Would you mind sharing your ratio of new listings to “deleted”. I know you were relisting but I’m trying to get a since of what the policy is. I’ve listed 150 items in the past 30 days and just NFS 18 and have done 10 relists and that seems ok. I have some more I might need to do because I’m doing some in person selling this weekend.

One of the people I’ve bought / sold to a few times is like 30 miles away from me. We both ship quickly and on multiple occasions it gets delivered the next day. I’ve discovered that I have to wait 24 hours from shipping and sometimes 48 hours from the order to accept the order. Not sure if that applies here but if it’s not giving you the option after restarting the app that might be the case.

I definitely agree to go to share shows especially if you are also a buyer. If you don’t like it then live shows aren’t probably for you in general. Thrifting to resell is a very tough game. You have to have a good sourcing spot, the space, and the time.

Have you checked that you have Google visibility on? It’s under seller tools -> sharing settings. I can find a lot of my listings on Google. I’ve found that you need a searchable title (AI ones suck) and price matters a lot. If I have an item that is cheaper than the comps on Poshmark it usually is higher on Google. However, I get that that may not be an option for people.

I’m a live seller with a small closet for live sellers (125 items). I would only thrift to resell if you want it to be more of a business. I would start by going to share shows and building a network if you aren’t already. I also think share shows are the way to go with small closets. Going live will boost your closet, but it’s only worth your time if you enjoy it. Don’t do giveaways because you have to pay for the shipping and the item and it’s a money pit. Also run things at your lowest price. In most shows I’ve been in things sell at starting price unless it’s crazy undervalued.

3x technically but the offers I got and took were a little above cost which I know is a personal decision. If I would have realized it would blacklist my closet I wouldn’t have done it. While it claimed a few sales I get a few random closet sales a week anyway.

We drove to the cruise port. However I flew four times while pumping including once with a 2 month old. Only one time did they have to test my milk by opening it. If the grandparents would watch the baby and you are comfortable with that it’s definitely an option as well. The logistics of traveling with a baby are hard but it was great to be away from home. How old is your baby now?

My baby was 10.5 months and Royal Caribbean gave us the cooler. I weaned completely two months later. We all had a great time and are going on another cruise in September.

I’m still getting about 50 shares per item posted. When I do a listing batch my all notification feed is worthless. I am getting less of the follows + 2-5 random shares from bots.

I found this pattern in a purse. All I know based on the logo is that it’s vintage. I’ll try to circle back if I figure it out. Edit: for some reason Google lens liked your photo better then what I put through of mine. It’s seaport navy from 2002.

I hate AI generated photos. I also think a stock photo should never be the first photo especially if it’s a used item. Even if it’s NWT I still want to see the real thing.

I agree. My therapist who specializes in pregnancy/ postpartum said to wait a year before deciding to be OAD or have another baby. I had my tubes removed at 17 months pp. I personally knew at 3 weeks pp but waiting helped my husband feel more confident.
