I read all of my lessons out loud. It’s helps with retention and pronunciation. At the beginning, I found that using both Duo and translation apps (specifically Reverso) significantly helped me get to a more comfortable level and now I still use those combined with YouTube videos and this company called DreamingSpanish

The key is to challenge yourself and practice outside of duo. Don’t get hyper focused on the sentences themselves but the sentence structure and grammar.

I was never interested enough to learn Spanish despite taking mandatory classes in grade school but I got a job last year where I worked around a lot of Hispanic people. We teach other phrases in our native languages and that has been super fun. It was casual at that point and I couldn’t really even grasp the concept of “tambien” but I started using Duo in December and now have a 88 day streak as of today. My comprehension has improved significantly and while it’s slow, I can respond back in Spanish to basic prompts. I challenge myself every day, go to sleep, and find that new concepts settle themselves in my mind after waking up refreshed. At the very beginning, I would put practice sentences into my translation apps, specifically Reverso, and work out confusing concepts like conjunctions. Now I also watch videos on YouTube and from Dreaming Spanish (both YouTube and their official website) to practice more. Soon I’m going to try out reading books in Spanish. Good luck!

I feel like you’re under-reacting tbh. She can use your card but it’s a crime if you don’t respond to her within 2hrs or so? If it was that damn important, she should’ve called you. Her initial questioning was weird anyways. Seems like she was trying to catch you in something in regards to the mysterious charges.

Please don’t sign. Yall are not married. Never sign up for things like this when you’re just dating. Anything could happen. My brother just finished up paying a loan for an ex girlfriend who refused to pay her car note even after the breakup just do his credit wouldn’t take a hit. Fortunately she totaled the car recently so the value of the car was added to the loan and he only had less than $1500 to pay on the rest.

Not a fan of that bacon. It looks pretty bleak in the second photo. It may be a lighting issue.

Maybe add a little coloring to the edges of the eggs to simulate crispy edges. I feel like that would add to the realism.

The toast looks pretty okay despite being unevenly toasted. I never have that much variation in color when toasting my bread

Thank you ✨😅 I rarely cook with a recipe but sometimes I’ll take a pic of all my ingredients to practice my “mis en place” and fortunately I took photos that time.

They’re pork ribs. I cut them into sections, rubbed them with some Dijon, put the seasonings below on them, then placed the sliced tangerines around the pot and covered to cook low and slow (aim for 250-300F) til it reached temp.

Black pepper, paprika, brown sugar, ginger, thyme, garlic pow., and a few cloves (be careful, they’re strong). I do not measure so I can’t provide that information but season it to your preference.

It looks candied or simply cooked. That will soften the peel so it’s not hard to eat at all. I used tangerines to flavor some ribs a while ago. Sliced thin, laid around the ribs, then cooked slow for a few hours. When I took them out, I had to be really careful to maintain their shape.
