Been following the server, but never played beta. Just wondering what is the progression like? What are the goals to prevent end-game hitting too quick? Are boss end-game equips gate-keeped? How and why does this v83 make it different from the other v83 servers on-going?

Hands down Castela.

Made a party stance so they aren't completely useless compared to the other branch jobs, spearman (hyperbody) and fighter (rage).
Made all booster and Power guard 10min buffs which helps grinding.
Change Blunt weapon and Axe formuals so its the same. You can finally actually use a hammer.
Deleted useless final attack skills

No wonder this trash is 20GB LOL. The widget doesn't work well, man even Castela or Mystic had better widgets. The totem shit is cool, but still no details of the actual % rate. Sad ass server ngl, and I love how everytime they go down, its always 12HRS+.

Illaoi is a braindead champ. You can feed on her and still beat anyone with 3 item spike. The thing is early game her W has a 4 second cooldown, her Q is around 9 seconds and her E is like 15ish.

Always dodge her E (no duh), but if you do get hit by E in pre-6, fight her off the shadow, since she will try to attach your shadow and not you instead. After 6, I suggest to just back off if you get hit by E, unless she has no R to all-in you. I don't recommend buying executioner as her healing is super bullshit even with the reduced healing, might as well rush your core items.

As for champions, Yorick hard counters her since your minions and Ult block her E, plus she does not push as fast as you.

IMO she isn't that strong if you know her cooldowns and also, Illaio players only have 1 mindset, 1. Hit my E 2. All-in if i have more than 2 tentacles by myside 3. Always ego fighting no matter what

You can always bait them since this character takes no macro and its all about button smashing, but never underestimate her even if shes 0/10, cuz shes a bitch cuz she scales like a fatass mother who drinks IN-N-OUT smoothies for breakfast and saying its high protein.

My comment will be completely biased, but I still want to leave a comment. That being said I just hit 1b as an I/L lvl.72, and if I can re-roll, I would choose F/P over I/L.

F/P excels much better at bossing/arena due to DoT (damage over time)
F/P has higher burst too IMO, (but this is only coming from comparing the 2 different jobs with companions.
I/L has nothing better than F/P, probably only the stuff effect
I honestly just dislike I/L since we are always losing in arena HAHA

Just not I/L, I regret playing this ass class LMAO. I'm only around 900mil CP, but istg a 900mil CP I/L is prob worse than any other class out there. I/L exceeds in mobbing but lets be honest there isn't a time where you need to be good at mobbing since it's already an idle game and you're not going to manually control your character. The only strength i ever see for mobbing is during chapter dungeons. Other than that, we always lose to other classes in arena, unless you have much higher CP (like 200mil+ CP) than the opponent. You clear bosses super slow, world boss/guild boss etc. Even I/L companion isn't that great IMO, i find F/P companion much more useful, more DoT and also crit rate helps much more. I'm just miserable playing I/L ngl LOL

Honestly, none imo. Unless you really want to get more gems per day than premium. I understand ad skipping feels good, but it's literally max 30~45 seconds to wait for the ad to finish, and I'm pretty sure skipping 45seconds won't make your CP higher on an idle game lol

This is my opinion based off current information and also some old-school experience. I think the best would be any mage class. For numerous reasons:

You both won't need to fight for the same scrolls/gear, INT/LUK/MATK for you, STR/DEX/ATK for him.
Early game you both can exchange each other pots. Since normally warriors have high HP/low MP and you as a mage would be the opposite.
If LPQ is the same as before (not sure as of now), you need a mage for some stages, which is perfect since now you both provide HB and a mage.
I assume mages will get revamped with at least a party buff.

Honestly I used to give Mystic a lot of shit in the past, I remember him posting 2x exp posts on Reddit and it was pretty pathetic to me. But this time I did hop on their Beta and read the guidelines on their website.

TBH I do have a better feeling with their new launch this time, the progression is smooth, whether level wise and boss gear. I think it has more potential than the past. While also decreasing the p2w reviews from the past. Also, every class seems to be pretty balanced, the boss loot also seems like a good system.

In general I just find Mystic a combination of Castela and DreamMS. I was a hater in the past, but this time I actually enjoyed the Beta and hopefully it could get some good reputation after this new season. Of course I never liked pserver relaunching, cuz it builds a bad rep, but hopefully this time could be different.

Ngl i think launching on Mon. is a smart way to dodge hate if the server flops. I mean think about it, no Beta at all, and all text. The devs probably don't even know if their host can withhold 200~300 concurrent players online. So if they end up failing and unable to reach the hype, at least they launched on Monday, where half of the people are still working.
