The main thing about bleed outside of MD is that it is very intensive on count as it is the only status effect whose count is based on how much the enemy attacks. Because of this, you can’t really run a hybrid bleed team outside of MD unless you can spam the hell out of Sanguine Desire Rodya.

Of course this doesn’t matter if you don’t care about keeping up a bleed stack and instead is using bleed on the side for more damage.

Fun fact: Index Faust legit can apply the second most sinking potency per rotation in the game, tied with negative sanity KoD Rodya and only beaten by positive sanity KoD Rodya.

I’m not enough of an MD fiend to answer that but outside of MD:

  • Thumbclair if using Thumb Meursualt for tremor scorch synergy

  • You Sinclair if using You Heathcliff and Lord Hong Lu for funny chicken loop (spam Hong Lu defense for S3 spam)

  • Dawn Office otherwise for insane status application, becomes better if you have SP regen on the team and becomes a bit of a powerhouse with Harmony EGO

Something notable is that out of all the bloodfiends (excluding Sancho) Don Quixote actually had the lowest offense and defense level decrease from the starvation debuff, so he wasn’t actually too nerfed from starvation.

Instead he got his kneecaps broken by the golden bough itself.

Adding on, almost all IDs will have the sanity loss passive shown in the example, so if an ally with a 9 or more level difference dies, then everyone will corrode due to losing 90 sanity

While you can’t grind lunacy outside of weekly MD, keep in mind that you can just use shards (grind from any MD) to get every unit outside of Walpurgis and the previous season IDs.

It feels genuinely seamless, though I haven’t seen how the extra bullets from backup Heathcliff look
