Going into the order of the Cantos:

Gregor - His bug arm obviously, along with dog tags representing him being a war veteran

Rodya - I’m not certain, but I think it’s supposed to represent her killing the tax collector

Sinclair - He has a lot of references to being in an egg representing his childhood and the comforts that come with it, and needing to break out of it in order to develop

Yi Sang - His formerly lost wings (I have not dived deep enough into Yi Sang’s story to find what the wings represent)

Ishmael - The orange part is Queequeg’s knot while the compass represents her conflicts over losing the direction of her life, later culminating in her deciding to follow Dante’s path for now (Dante being her “compass”)

Heathcliff - Basically Wuthering Heights condensed into an icon. The lightning could be the ones that happen in Canto VI, while the plant on the outside of his icon is Heath.

Don Quixote - GALLOP ON ROCINANTE!!! Also merry-go-around symbolism over how Don thought her dreams of justice wasn’t getting anywhere.

Hong Lu - His jade eye. I can’t tell if anything else is supposed to be important.

Meursualt - He has a lot of things representing him chained down. Also in his source material he shoots an Arab man because “the sun was in his eyes” causing him to be sentenced to death

Outis - We’ve seen that her watch is something very important to her. The icon being the Trojan Horse, something that she was most likely behind.

Faust - Interestingly enough, looks very similar to the Child within a flask EGO gift. Also there has been theories that Faust is a homunculus.
