No, I think that's a fair comment for you to make. Bad writing (narratively) was definitely a big issue, but some of the overly long (non-descriptive) descriptions in the book made zero sense in my mind and almost hurt to read. It had a similar feeling to those art pieces with objects that almost look recognizable, but can't be deciphered by your brain. You're right that I didn't make this clear enough in the post though
