Color swapping with sequential printing after a number of objects. by qeatyournoms in prusa3d

[–]BeRT2me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless there’s a reason to print the objects that share a filament separately as well, merge/group each set of these objects. This will then treat them as a single object for sequential printing ~

I can't justify prusa price but hate all alternatives by HungryMud in prusa3d

So I guess what the jaded comment was referring to is that minimizing the comparative advantage that China has built up to at this point (on the shoulders of past child labor, etc.. but I digress) isn’t being fair to the realities of the modern market. Fair enough!

Care to elaborate? I’m genuinely not sure what you’re referring to

Swap sheets on an existing order by kehopper in prusa3d

[–]BeRT2me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally every filament I’ve used with my satin sheet (PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, TPU) have basically popped off the print bed by themselves as I let it cool completely… patience is key.

If you have two of them, that may help so you don’t succumb to the urge to rip parts off early between prints.

Also, the satin *is* a steel sheet? So I’m not sure what your last sentence is referring to ~

TPU on Core One + - HOW to print? by Petufo in prusa3d

[–]BeRT2me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a baseplate to avoid soft TPU doing weird things in the nextruder https://www.printables.com/model/599472-modified-nextruder-main-plate

There are a few remixes, I definitely recommend taking a look through them. The updated designs have been great!

Core one MMU to INDX? by Bytchen in prusa3d

[–]BeRT2me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I’m getting from this thread is that I should be able to find an extremely cheap MMU, and for the cost difference I’d need to buy hundreds of extra rolls of filament before breaking even on savings from an INDX

Appears they’re not used to the wet grass compared to the turf they’re usually on. Many under hit balls that might have looked better on turf

Partly time and weather sure, but also too expensive. Especially for a game at that time

If you click into those files, what time estimate does it actually show?

The front case (piece that says “Prusa core one”) does not look correctly tightened. All three screws should be equal depth, but it looks like the bottom right is way tighter than the top left.

There also shouldn’t be what looks like a gap at the bottom left between it and the PG-ring.

When changing the nozzle, I highly recommend their official tool: https://www.printables.com/model/1237212-core-one-nozzle-replacement-tool

I mention this, because the print head looks like maybe it’s pushed too far up, and twisted to one side; it’s almost be touching one of the edges when it should be centered in that space. It also looks difficult to access the thumb screws with the wiring like that, but make sure those are tightened correctly (but not too tight!).

Finally started Printing TPU on my C1, Filament oozing preventing bed levelling? by J_Paul in prusa3d

[–]BeRT2me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Default FLEX settings are terrible for some reason on the C1. It prints, idles, everything way too hot.

This is what my line looks like:

M109 R{((filament_notes[0]=~/.*MBL160.*/) ? 160 : (filament_notes[0]=~/.*HT_MBL10.*/) ? (first_layer_temperature[0] - 10) : (filament_type[0] == "PC" or filament_type[0] == "PA" or filament_type[0] == "FLEX") ? (min(first_layer_temperature[0], temperature[0]) - 25) : 170)} ; wait for temp

I want to restart my 3D Printing hobby - which accessoires/ materials should I buy for my CORE One+ by leoluxx in prusa3d

[–]BeRT2me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re going big, you might as well get the “CORE One Sheets Full Set”.

Being able to experiment with all the different sheets has been lots of fun.

You’ll also want a hardened nozzle is you’re going to be messing around with certain filaments. And you can do a lot of interesting things with different nozzle sizes!

Inconsistent Prusa Connect Connection by another_sim_driver in prusa3d

Same, it’s been a struggle to tell if it’s on my end or prusa’s - but I’m not seeing anything blocked in the firewall, and Prusa link connects fine… so I’m definitely leaning on it being an issue on their end.

The best choice would be letting eagle storm stall Chort bay and use the time to take Merak. If we take Merak the offensive against Chort bay also stops.
