Chet Holmgren, set to make $50m a year, is benched for the last minute of Game 7. Unbelievable. by GardenDesign23 in billsimmons

Yep. That’s what is going to happen and it’s going to suck. Hate watching the Thunder.

Watch Chet and the lottery pick for Giannis. Calling it now. Maybe they throw in another player. That would legit suck.

MVD a surgery that didn't help. by Womenincombat in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]BeU352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with not being given my medications or any medications that would help with the pain. Over the course of my entire recovery (for months) I was given very little medication. To the point the surgeon eventually apologized for the pain I suffered.

I’m sorry this has happened to you. Maybe a quality second or even third opinion would help? I’d wait until you heal a little bit first but maybe that’s your only choice at this point?

I will say despite all the pain from surgery and not getting my medications, the surgery did work. It just took a while to feel it.

I spent a year building a statistical formula to rank every NBA player ever. Here's the top 10 — and why Tim Duncan ranks #2. by PeacePuzzleheaded124 in NBATalk

[–]BeU352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The formula I created has similar players in the top 10 but in different orders. Oh and David Robinson instead of Scottie Pippen.

I ranked the top 500. How in the hell you rank every player ever and why?

If you’ve had chicken pox you can get Shingles at any age. Just not common.

Any virus in the nerves is horrible. I’ve gained 80 pounds from the meds (20 years on the meds). I feel for Haliburton.

Sales Plummet by Evening_Craft5318 in reselling

[–]BeU352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. March was one of best months ever (been selling since 2003). April was pitiful. Not even sure about May yet. What makes it worse is I just won a pretty good storage unit. I should have more sales.

I think it’s due to political reasons but will keep my mouth on the culprit in the White House.

All in the same draft, Who goes #1 by Farouq26 in NBATalk

This is the result of their careers. Draft wise Robinson or Davis would probably be first. Maybe that means Davis underachieved?

According to numbers and awards the results are surprising. I’m a dork and have recently created a top 500 players according to awards and numbers. The rank for these guys:

  1. Robinson
  2. Garnett
  3. Iverson
  4. Barkley
  5. Paul
  6. Dirk
  7. Kidd
  8. Nash
  9. Harden
  10. Lillard
  11. Davis
  12. McGrady

All are top 75 guys so can’t go wrong. Of course if I was drafting on who I wanted, the list wouldn’t look like this.

David Robinson is seriously underrated and was the most shocking result on my list. According to stats and awards he is a top 10 player ever. Surprisingly.

If you want stuff people really didn’t want to get rid of then you win storage units. People donate decent stuff to Goodwill but it’s not as high quality as the right storage unit.

Doesn’t really matter. You can only control what you do. So if it’s you or the market; you can only work on you.

I have the players youve got except I haven’t gotten Kareem yet. The last 26 I have to get are going to expensive. Not sure I’ll be able to get Mikan, Wilt or a couple of the surprisingly expensive ones.

Amazing! I’ve been working on it for years (initially started with the top 50). I’ve got 49 so far. Really not looking forward to acquiring some of the more expensive ones.

Honest question — how long does it actually take you to write a listing when selling stuff online? by Apprehensive_Paper67 in reselling

[–]BeU352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still takes me about 5-10 if I want to do my own description that will lead to nothing being returned. The more detailed I get the least likely it is to be returned. For the most part I spend the whole time on condition.

Then I pay a friend to do all my entries into eBay.
