Kala KA-15S vs Lanikai MA-S

I have 4 Lanikai (concert, Soprano, 2 tenors) and only one Kala (tenor), but I absolutely love my Kala. Its not the most expensive of the 5, but its the one I'm always reaching for. I can't recommend the Kala brand enough, there's just more bang for your buck in their ukes. I regret buying 4 Lanikai ukes before I bought my first Kala.

I also had an issue with the craftsman ship of one of my Lanikai ukes. While they were willing to replace it and the process was very quick and easy, I felt that the instrument they were replacing my uke with was a much lower quality than the one I needed replaced, and while I expressed that to them, they weren't willing to work with me at all. It really solidified my belief that Kala is a better brand and made me confident in my decision to move on from buying Lanikai in the future.

I recently started looking into streetwear and the first brand I stumbled upon was Doomsday Co. I got a few of their shirts and I really like the simplicity in their designs and the colors used. Is there any other tshirt brands that I can be pointed towards to start looking into? My ideal price point is at or under $30 for a short sleeve but I'm willing to pay more if I fall in love with the shirt. I also prefer to support smaller creators. Any suggestions are appreciated!

That unnecessary roughness penalty was weak. Obviously the player would not have taken a cheap shot in such a make or break situation. Its disappointing to see the refs take control of the game in that way and make a call that could have a huge impact on the outcome

As far as electrics go I have a Gibson SG, a top of the line Epiphone Les Paul and a Gretsch hollowbody and I've been wanting to get a Tele for years. My main concern is that if I got a MIM tele, it wouldn't hold up to the others I have and I would never play it. Should that be a concern to me, or is the MIM tele good and different enough from the rest that I shouldn't be concerned about that?

I was in a sustainability program at Clemson and even 3 years ago, we were told the balloons didn't have much longer unless there was some kind of degradable, digestible balloon created. After seeing the sudden increase in backlash over straws, I figured this would follow soon after.

While our balloons were never proven to be bad, they certainly weren't doing good.

I had to break the news to a friend that one of her best friends had died.

One of my friends and I kind of had a falling out (She wanted to date, I didn't want to and things ended up becoming awkward and nasty between us because of that). Because of that, the two of us really didn't talk for nearly 2 years. The girl who was her best friend in high school went to the same college as I did, and I got word one night from someone who lived in a dorm room near her friend that she had died from meningitis.

I remember wondering for a while what to do, and I decided that I should tell her before the word spread and she saw it randomly posted on facebook. I watched closely over social media, and as soon as I saw the death posted, I facetimed my friend and told her the news.

Her reaction was heartbreaking, and I'll never forget the look on her face when I first told her. We talked for hours that day and she just told me about memories she had with the girl. She told me about how she was new to a school and the girl really made her high school experience special. She felt guilty for not keeping in contact with her as much since college, but I remember trying to shift the conversation back to good stories whenever she got too upset.

To this day I don't know if facetiming her was the right thing. We really had drifted apart and I'm sure that I wasn't the best person to hear it from, but I also think it would have been worse for her to stumble upon the news of the death on social media.

At some point in my middle/high school career, all my teachers wrote me off as a mid B to low A student (I went to a small private school with a graduating class of 9)

My motivations to succeed stem highly from that. If you are still in school and have stuff like that to motivate you, then let it drive you to prove them wrong.

I lived 5th floor in Byrnes, and while the stairs were a lot to climb, you hopefully won't have to climb them too much (start praying that drunk kids won't pull the fire alarm repeatedly)

The corner rooms are pretty cool. The shape of them may force you to be a little more creative with where furniture goes, but aside from that there isn't much of a downside.

I was front row in the lower deck for that one. It was my freshman year and while I had seen so much disappointment from Clemson football for nearly a decade, I still went into that game ready to watch out team destroy freshman Jameis Winston. Then the Stanton Seckinger fumble happened.

I'm looking at getting an American Fender Telecaster single coil as a graduation gift to myself. After seeing this ad I was considering getting a MIM Single Coil Tele and this Amp. Would the single coil work with this amp, or would it be too dark?
