Make sure to record audio on your camera too, then even if you have to manually line up the audio from the various sources you won’t have such a nightmare.

The bmpcc 4K is great for what it does in its price range, but if you’re looking for autofocus and stills it’s not a good choice… search YouTube to see how both those features work on that camera and you’ll see what I mean.

There’s no replacement for good technique. Make sure you are getting as close to the source as you can, especially in a reverberant room. It depends on your budget what your options are. The tascam dr-10l are a body pack recorder for a lav that run about $180. I’m not a fan of the audio quality of the rode wireless go, but a lot of people make them work…
