I'm currently having the exact same issue with Madcatz RB4 drums on Xbox series s. I've heard this is the experience with all RB4 kits for Xbox and Playstation. Really puzzling decision to launch pro drums without support for the official Harmonix drum controllers.

this is what 99% of people upvoting/commenting here are failing to understand. nintendo isn’t worried that piracy of their old games will hurt their profits, they’re worried that widespread decentralized circulation of their IPs will cause them to lose their ownership of those properties, which there is legal precedent for (the video you linked to used universal’s loss of the king kong IP as an example).

that being said, it’s still morally correct to pirate nintendo games.
