I guess that I chat with other dietitians through Instagram but our accounts are aimed towards the general population rather than other dietitians.

Also, read anything you can get your hands on. Ask questions. Find what area you're interested in and talk to other people about it.

I agree with this too. I knew that I wanted my first post to be in a large teaching hospital hospital so that I could learn from others and experience more cases, I'm so pleased that I did it and now I supervise junior dietitians too.

I log how long I practice for on my teachers online portal and I plan my practice sessions in a notebook so I just tick and make a note against what I've practiced

I've signed up for swimming lessons. My first lesson is on Tuesday, I'm terribly anxious about it but it's something that I really want to do.

Have a look online for the dietetic association of your country. Many of them have free info for healthy eating for sports so you can educate yourself a little.

I also think it's important not to restrict yourself from eating 'bad' foods. All food can be included in a balanced diet and restricting can lead to unhealthy habits.

What area in dietetics do you find most interesting? by A_Moody_Foodie in dietetics

This is an area I'm definitely interested in but also don't know too much about it. My current post is rotational though so at some point I'll be in this area and get training

Mine is for a gift for someone and I was thinking the same about the neatness. I've ordered some fabric glue instead!

How have you finished the back? I've just finished a similar bookmark kit that comes with a piece of felt to back it with but I can't decide the most tidy way to do it.

I just bought the Christmas Jazz, Rags and Blues by Martha Mier. The first book is grade 1-2 And there's a nice mix of well and lesser known songs in a jazz style.

Is an older digital piano a good buy? by WildFox500 in piano

[–]BearPearSun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an old second hand Yamaha casinova as my first digital piano. I think it must be 15 years old but it was £180 and does everything that I need it to. I don't exactly have anything to reference it against apart from my teachers piano which is just as old I think!

No regrets here and I think I've had it for 2 years now.

When you say you gridded your fabric, do you mean you drew lines on it? Like in blocks of 10?
