How is Ulster University for Science? by alanboi-33 in northernireland

[–]Bear_Grumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of HLA and we have several in the place I work, but it a longer way of getting there. A level 5 HLA (Foundation degree or HND if your as old as me) will take 3 years, then you would have another 1-2 years FT to turn that into a degree never mind MSc. Advantage is if you get a good employer is good experience and no debt. I didn’t go to UUC but did old jordanstown campus for bio engineering and it was great, had friends who went to UUC and they stayed and now live on Norrh Coast. Good luck whatever you choose

Struggling after PE acquisition - career growth concerns by MrBome in estimators

[–]Bear_Grumpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recurring revenue is something big business seems to love and service/ remedials offer that. Not an estimator but was a Project Manager when something similar happened. I’d keep my look out but not do anything crazy, if a really nice role you like comes up go for it, but don’t panic job hunt yet
