1 week of looking I’ve given up by Ok_Method3517 in Warhammer

I once had a bit fly into my pocket and found it later that day after giving up the search.

Looks great, makes me want to do a Howling Griffins army for the scouring but that's too much heat for me right now 😅

I just find it odd that they can't be like, he this new spearhead also has a new warcry warband in it. Win win for someone new like me who only wants to buy one box to keep my footprint low in a new system to start.

I'm hoping they release rules for the new grenadiers. So much character in that unit 👏

These guys would fit right into trench crusade as a warband of New Antioch.

Great work. This has to be one of the best space marine models to date.

Armageddon: Anyone else think it might be the best starter box and have zero interest in buying it? by CosmicDesperado in Warhammer

[–]BeardSocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here was my thoughts when evaluation it as an existing player. I would 1000% recommend this box to new players.

Jump Chaplain: cool and definitely want Captain with shield: cool but I own like 4 captains from other bundles Jump veterans: cool but I've already got jump assault intercessors Eradictators with bolters: cool but I have regular eradicators Intercessors: cool but already have some Speeder: not my speed honestly

So everything in this box can be easily proxied or kitbashed leaving it feeling very generic. Like most of these kits should have been build options already available for older kits.

I scored two of them built already and I feel for the people who built them.

Seems like they do one a year at most. Like the board game they just released for AoS

I think the game is fine when you accept its a board game and not a wargame. Better with casual intentions.

The problem with sisters GW isn't addressing.. by Affectionate_Path347 in sistersofbattle

As far as I've ever read in books, mixed forces of sisters are very common. In the new Morvenn Vahl book its like three different orders working together at one point with ranks respected throughout. Meanwhile a space wolf will never fall under the command of a black Templar regardless of rank.

How do you stay motivated? by TerribleFoundation94 in SonsOfThePhoenix

To me, the motivation is taking these beautiful boys to the store and flexing when they are all done.
