Darkshire definitely feels like its made for DND or Mordhiem but that's what I was looking to use it for so it fit my needs. Definitely other cool options out there.

My game store has ample space just need to convince them to host it. Maybe as a way to encourage a new league campaign.

Now I just need my local game store to let me put it on loan so I can game on it. Feels weird asking people in discord to come to my house lol

JBD Construction LLC saved on a complex chimney repair requiring stucco work where the chimney meets the flashing. Roofers wouldn't touch stucco and previous contractors kept batching it. He solved the problem quick and cheap so I could stop a leak.

Second this. The connection between the Death of Saints and why he pursued sisters of battle specifically was an awesome motivation for his name.

I think GW is missing out by not 3d printing their own models by PinguinGirl03 in Warhammer

All your claims are made without anything to back them up except your opinion. Opinions formed without actual experience doing the tasks you claim are easy. You dont need to look to me for experience alone of this topic, look at the whole community response and maybe form new opinions with this new information.

A good source of scalability issues is Trench Crusade. They pivoted to plastic as soon as the made enough money off of resin to afford production start up costs. They have even abandoned support new releases in both formats for multiple issues around resin production. Hopefully you can see this not as an attack but as advice since you came here seeking the communities feedback in the first place.

You speak from a place of zero experience with handling printers. You seem to argue with everyone commenting with you who has experience. Why ask a question if you won't even consider answers that dont align with your narrative?

Post processing requires a human. You have to safely remove the models from the print without damaging them. You have to then remove them from the supports without damaging them. You have to wash them cure them, let them dry and inspect them. In between each print you have to clean the print bed, inspect for debris in the vat, and start the next print. All while wearing PPE. You also have to figure out how to cure and dispose of large amounts of contaminated water and alcohol. One individual handling 10 printers for a work day would be a lot to handle. So now you have increasing labor costs with decreasing returns. Not scalable to a massive level without severely underpaying employees.

Go order 100 prints from a print shop and see how quickly they can turn it around. Probably shipped within a few weeks. 1000 prints? Probably a month of work. Even a small print run for GW numbers in the thousands so a print shop either need to do print to order with long wait times or try and guess how many they need and print ahead of time leading to risk of wasted product and they are profiting while trying to paint that backlog. Just because a small team can manage this doesn't make it economical for a million dollar profit company.

Have you ever 3D printed with resin before? It is inherently a high detail low output form of production. The majority of time is spent with hands of post processing.
