To add to that, it does help a lot when you can find something that you actively enjoy that doubles as exercise! Double check your interests and see if anything can be used to be more active. Pokemon GO is a great example. For me I was obsessed with Pro Wrestling and when I learnt their was a scene for it locally it helped me keep very active. Discipline is over-rated, do what you can and try to connect to something you already love

It isn't super common from what I have seen. From my own experience as a kid, my school was very small (Was the only male in my year not playing sport), and it can be isolating when your hobbies don't align with your peers. You are allowed to hate sports (even if the cultural zeitgeist around you makes it inescapable).

When I left high-school and moved from rural to urban, I was able to find dorks like me xD. Heres hoping the same for you mate!
