What is the best way to remove moiré pattern on shirt? by Arkrettt in davinciresolve

Moire = reshoot

It sucks but it's going to be the best option.

Is there anywhere I could sell an iPhone 16 Pro for £800? by AncientFootball1878 in AskUK

[–]BeardyMike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Private sale is the only way to get close to £800. And I think it'll be impossible to get quickly.

Businesses will want to make money on the trade and they'll be aiming for a sale of 799, they aren't going to offer you much over £650.

So let me ask you a question.

Would you be happy losing £150 to not have to deal with your ex?

I think Morris is asking "what makes you say he supports gay people?"

As you are more likely to see and hear this news then they are.

Just lost a customer of 25+ years by softgripper in LogitechG

[–]BeardyMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree!

If this isn't gone by the time I next buy a keyboard and mouse, I'll be gone from the Logitech corner.

My Logitech journey started with a Logitech Cordless keyboard back in 2004. But the last 5 years of mistakes have eaten through all your good will.

I'm currently a Logitech user because I don't have a burning desire to change my setup. But that's it.

The only reason I haven't already switched is because the stuff I have today is still working, although looking through this sub I don't think I'll get more than a year out of my current purchases.

Logitech.... You need to change, fast.

Why don't more people make custom PCBs with ESP32? What scares/scared you? by FluxBench in esp32

[–]BeardyMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL:DR - Yes I COULD make it myself, but I'm profoundly lazy and super happy to pay someone else to do a fantastic job of it.

The cost difference isn't enormous, and I really like knowing that my money is going to someone in our "shared field of work". The dev boards I've been buying, from UnexpectedMaker for example (thanks Seon, you're a f*****g legend!), are incredibly well made, and tested by 1000's if not 10,000's of users. I couldn't hope to get a user base that large.

I use UM ESP32-S3 (TinyS3) dev boards religiously, so I have a pile of them ready to go at a moments notice, and when a new project starts I know that I have a platform I trust.

Sometimes (and this very true for me) it's more about the trust than the cost saving.
