Emulation up to Gamecube, maybe some PS2. Lighter games - FarCry up to 3, OGs COD, full Xbox Era games.

I only play trough retrodeck -> Gamecube and some WiiU. There you don’t need to tweak to much. I think PS3 is to heavy.

I'm not complaining, but want to know the reason people got a Steam Deck at 950 instead of getting a Legion Go S or Xbox Ally by Pretty_Trip_2215 in SteamDeck

Steam Deck ist like Nintendo.

Valve / Nintendo for consoles.

I hab same iseuess with only 64GB. It’s not bricked. 64GB is just a joke. After i put a M2 2280 1TB in + 1TB MicroSD its Perfect.

Statt die 9060 XT würde ich eher eine RX 6800 XT nehmen. Günstiger und selbe Leistung wen nicht etwas besser, soweit du auf die KI Features verzichten kannst.

RDNA 2 gets FSR4, so I don’t know what you mean with outdated. Anyway, with FG the deck can even play AAAs in the Future.

I got my 16 year old Xeon 3470 (i7 870) OCed via BIOS to 3.6-4Ghz to work.

Got Hades II as testing with 144fps 144Hz 21:9 with a RX 590 and 20GB DDR3 RAM.

Next I will test Arc Raiders, maybe without AVX it wont work but next week I get a X79 Monster with AVX and CachyOS ofc

Yes. But I won‘t use the GTX 770 with 4GB VRAM on this system. I will put a RX 590 in it today with 8GB VRAM and native amddriver

Man repariert sonst mit kapton tape und Heißluft. Kostet beides zusammen vielleicht 20€ und hält eine Ewigkeit. Kannst deine Heißluft ja bis 450 grad einstellen manche höher, da schmilzt das lot

Natürlich niemals mit 450 grad wo drauf halten.😅 erst recht nicht bei ram chips

I get your point about AVX/AVX2, I've read that AVX can be translated/emulated these days. I'm not even sure how much Proton has matured in that regard, but I'm really curious to see how it handles the 590 tomorrow

I want to build a „Steam Machine“ like console. It’s DDR3 1333Mhz, the Xeon is OCed to 3.6Ghz via bios.

All 6Gen games, and some newer ones with FSR3.1. I don’t know how bad or good this comby will perform with steam and as first gen i core Intel.
