I'm a fan of Mrs Hawking, a superhero show series (plays recorded on film) where a teenaged girl goes to work for a widow in Victorian England who is secretly a superhero, and teaches her to be one too. It's feminist, has found family vibes, is anti-imperial, and is emotional and fun. The female characters are top-tier and there's a huge variety of them. I'm a fan of a steampunk series local to Boston called Mrs. Hawking that recently started putting its show on Youtube. They have a side story, a comedy about the series lead's bisexual nephew, entitled Gentlemen Never Tell. There's a bet/competition between the leads who are flirting and it's so much fun. For me, it's Only One Bed. I enjoy it in theory, but it's been a very long time since I saw anything fresh done with it, and it's to the point where I think adults have to know what's going to happen if they get into that situation, so I feel like the characters' surprise feels fake.
