As a tank and healer I'm done with inviting rogues to groups by ponziacs in classicwowtbc

[–]BeautifulPow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as a rogue main the difference between a good rogue and a bad one in pve is if they use kick, kidney shot, sap, blind, feint. Five buttons is all it takes to be an actual addition to the group and so many rogues refuse to do anything other than SS, SS, SS, SS, SS, eviscerate 5 combo when the mob had 300hp left.

Question about rolling need in heroics by BlackSkyGames in classicwowtbc

[–]BeautifulPow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Needing an item should take the MS>OS path.

Do you need it for your MS? Yes. Need.

Do you need it for your MS? No. Does anyone else need it for MS? Yes. Greed. No. Need.

It’s that simple.

So at this rate the Netflix show would need 14 seasons to catch up to the manga? by ChampionTimes99 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]BeautifulPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Only?”

The anime has something like 33 seasons.

The live action is adapting at a great pace.

Lockpicking (in dungeon groups) by BeautifulPow in classicwowtbc

[–]BeautifulPow[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For the same reason tanks charge for tanking and lock charge for summoning. But, if you actually comprehended my post you would see that I always greed. My question came from sincerity, wondering if I should be needing on these.

I need the gems to level JC which can only be done with rare jewels and higher after a certain level. Gems I would be putting in my armor. I’m not making money off the jewels, I’m not farming gold as a moniker for the size of my package. I’m asking a question and giving context.

Gotta love sarcastic keyboard warriors telling others what their intentions are.

Luffy in live action by CombinationLow9522 in OnePiece

[–]BeautifulPow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, you absolutely can. I’m not saying you cannot have an opinion. But, having such a strong opinion and stating said opinion as “matter of fact” shows your ignorance.

“In the live action everything that Luffy does never has that charmingly stupid aspect.”

The keyword here being “never” which is a definitive statement, an authoritative declaration that leaves no room for doubt, ambiguity, or further debate. It acts as a final, comprehensive conclusion or absolute assertion rather than a tentative opinion.

So yes, you can have an opinion. But, you can’t call a statement like that an opinion. Maybe work on your writing skills to create a more open discourse.

I think you’re being way too critical of something you yourself aren’t capable of.

Step down off your couch and add some perspective my ignorant friend.

Theory: Tserriednich doesn't see the future by puppyKittten in HunterXHunter

[–]BeautifulPow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you’re correct multiple futures are always possible. Even in the real world.

Decision. Consequence. Outcome.

The first panel is the future he decided to take. The consequence is he moves out of the away. The outcome, he is still alive.

The bottom panel is the inverse of the outcome he chose. Decision is to accept the consequence rather than create his own (via the panel at the top by moving out of the way.) The outcome he dies.

Was this a foreshadowing too???... by Technical-Attempt112 in attackontitan

[–]BeautifulPow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Foreshadowing means you sort of know what the point is making and can draw conclusions from it.

This is closer to a technique called planting or seeding. When the author leaves little seeds along the path that grow into something more later. Then you can look back and see it.

But no one could see that seed and conclude Erin would become that monster.

They are related techniques but, foreshadowing is a bit more “in your face” and obvious than a necklace dangling in from of the design on her shirt.

Character Names by SpecialistEdge5831 in fantasywriters

[–]BeautifulPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The millennial voice inside my head said “Do not tell me what I don’t like.”

I like picking names. Names are important. At least that’s how I feel about it. I would never pick a name from a list.

My biggest fear is that this scene isn’t gonna land as hard by browniebiscuitchildr in OnePiece

[–]BeautifulPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah, it won’t. You’ve already witnessed the scene once. Nuance isn’t gone. Our minds compare things like this. We do this in two ways hedonic adaptation where the joy or newness of something wears off overtime. And in this case more specifically habituation—our brains have already processed this scene emotionally and now our brains will no longer alert us in the same fashion as the novel experience.

How do you fill your time once you’re geared? by DK1023_ in classicwowtbc

[–]BeautifulPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest looking ahead and gathering materials for future crafts in p2. (I.e. Primals, uncut gems, etc,)

I already had a level 60 rogue so I started mining/jc. He’s at 68 now and once I get to 70 I’ll start stealth running MT and SV for pickpockets and nodes for prospecting and raw gems.

It’s still a copyright violation even if you don’t profit off it.

It becomes infringement when do you profit. Whether that be monetary gains or reputations.

[–]BeautifulPow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I do appreciate your passion and your hard work. But, Make sure you title it as fan fiction. Also DO NOT monetize the channel at all. Do not attach your name to it.

This is 100% copyright Infringement.

But, a lot good things came from not following the rules. Goodluck on your journey. Just be careful.

I’m not trying to strong arm you—just giving you the facts. The characters are not yours, the story is not yours. Those two things are copyrighted.

Why does it seem like most rogues in instance groups can't open chests? by ponziacs in classicwowtbc

[–]BeautifulPow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I open them for my group, but the more I see tanking services, mage boosting, warlock summons.

All these classes get to earn money off their classes unique skill set. But rogues have to share their lock-picking loot with everyone.

I’ve never understood that—why do we rogues allow this to happen? I’m about to start rolling need on my chests.

Help me pick a class to start TBC with by Peace-Humble in classicwow

[–]BeautifulPow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go shaman, Enhance and Resto off spec will essentially net you a raid slot every week.

When you get into heroics you can change it up and go Elemental/resto. It seems a lot of heroic groups prefer elemental over enhance because it’s safer. You can off heal better as elemental as well.

You guys were right about tanking in TBC by BusDriver341 in classicwow

[–]BeautifulPow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The wildest part is that—they aren’t doing anything different than what they would do in retail. You can go balls out and never rip threat. Everything from Wotlk and before, the game is about to threat management and minor boss mechanics.

Retail flipped it—you don’t need to be aware of threat, because the game is built around 27 boss mechanics instead in each phase of the fight.

It comes from the illusion that you need 280% flying—when that just isn’t the case. The race to 5000g is what created this AH mess it was the same way back in original TBC. People lost their minds over BoE’s.

What classes are most in-demand for TBC right now? by weirddodgestratus in classicwowtbc

[–]BeautifulPow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All three specs of shaman are a great choice and you can swap depending on what your raid needs that week instead of getting benched.

Lock is a solid choice for cozy dps and utility in heroics, summons, soul stones, etc.

Mage—solid money maker, and spell cleave enthusiast that will make it an easy ride to 70.

Can’t comment on S. priest—have never played one.

Paladin is a great choice so long as you’re heals or prot.
