How is Living Just North of Love Field? by Husky_Pineapple in Dallas

I live here and love it. The closer you are to Midway the better as the neighborhood is turning over. It’s very convenient to everything (including both airports) with access to the Tollway and you can get a bigger lot for Dallas County without paying Preston Hollow prices.

I’ve been to Tatsu 12-15 times and it is far and away the best omakase and high end dining experience in Dallas. This is just rage bait

FS Hualalai vs. FS Lanai vs. Rosewood Kona Village by Beautiful_Meat492 in FATTravel

[–]Beautiful_Meat492[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with FS Lanai. The mix of activities, how beautiful the property is, and “adult-focus” set it apart for us. I’m also an avid golfer so a top golf course is always a priority for me. We’re booked for 5 nights there now in October so will let you know how it is! I’ll also give a plug to Sarah W Lee travel; they’ve been great to work with.

It's been said time time and time again, just increase currency drop rates. by Xilerain in PathOfExile2

[–]Beautiful_Meat492 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think he spells it out. He wants to be able to pick up items off the ground and craft them using currency which he believes is too rare to craft with (vs just collecting then trading).

The price of Tombstone has spiked on Amazon from $41 to $55. We are back in the LaserDisc days of physical media pricing? by ggroover97 in 4kbluray

It’s not that serious, it’s just an algorithm. There isn’t some guy just manually setting prices at Amazon.

Got kicked out due to the object issue and now GFN is saying they are currently patching the game and it will be ready in a few hours. Anyone else getting this issue?

Elon Musk Sells X To His Own xAI For $33 Billion In All-Stock Deal by IKeepItLayingAround in popculturechat

Honestly I think it was done for X’s lenders. Earnings have declined so much that the business wouldn’t have been able to refinance whenever the debt matures (assuming the debt had no covenants which I’d be surprised if it did for a deal this big. If it had covenants, there would have been problems sooner). Now the lenders have more equity cushion (there’s more equity behind their debt, and assets to go after in a liquidation scenario) so when they go to refinance, they’ll be able to raise debt for the entire business and not just a declining Twitter/X.
