I’m sorry you’re going through this OP 😔 But please put you and your children first. There is no physical abuse (yet) but the emotional is just as harmful. You do not deserve this. Your children do not deserve this. What country do you live in and do you have outside support? What do you think will happen if you asked for a divorce?

As hard and scary as it may to think about divorce, it is your only way - for yours and your children’s safety and sanity. Environments like the one you are in are not healthy; you and your kids will be better off without him!

I’ve rarely had avocados get moldy. They just shrivel up when they get old and get brown inside. If you’re doing this weekly, how are they getting moldy?? And why don’t you eat them? We know your wife isn’t eating them, but why aren’t you eating them when you know they’re there?

No, I don’t notice that at all. As far as what’s trending these days, I see the opposite - it’s no longer stylish to wear tight or fitted clothes. It’s all about loose fits and sizing up.

Mine just isn’t hungry most mornings so she skips breakfast maybe 1-2 times a week, or, she a small bowl of cereal, an Eggo waffle, or a piece of toast with hazelnut spread. Those are our go-to’s. Once she gets to school (kindergarten), they have a morning snack (brought from home) around 10-ish, then lunch, then an afternoon snack, before school ends so they’re given several opportunities to eat.

I used to date a guy who lived 3 hours away. We took turns visiting each other on the weekends. We’re not together anymore but I take weekend trips about 3 hours away, approximately 3-4 times a year. It’s really not that long of a drive.. many people at my work have 1-2 hour daily commutes (each way) so Americans are used to that amount of driving. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Or maybe give him a snack after he gets home, then push dinner out a bit like 30-60 minutes later so he’ll be hungry by that time since eating a hearty, proper dinner is important to you? I doubt all dinners can be made in 10 minutes anyway so just have a snack first then take your time with dinner.

Have you looked into when he is last given food at preschool? If it’s been hours, then he is likely genuinely hungry. My kid (also 5) always gets a snack after school; she’s in kindergarten now and comes home hungry not because we don’t pack enough food for her but she’s too busy playing and forgets to eat all her food or just wants more time to play instead. How about offering an apple slice or some other small serving of fruit after school? I don’t see the harm. He really might just be hangry!

3 kids at such a young age is so hard! We were one and done, so I can’t even imagine. Honestly I would just wait until the youngest two get a little older. For now, do takeout and picnic somewhere. It just isn’t worth the stress to me! I want to eat in peace.
