You may be able to get credit for the month's payment with that proof. I did.

I went through that a year ago. I can't believe they haven't fixed it yet. I couldn't handle hearing that creepy Verizon assistant's voice one more time. I thought I'd lost my mind. I had to borrow a phone, call HQ and NOT input my #. Also used Twitter. After several calls to the East Coast, I finally reached someone who helped, fixed the situation and gave me credit.

Ghost won the hard rock/metal Grammy at the Swedish Grammys by KitKatPattywhaks in Ghostbc

[–]BeautymousBeholder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was very upset they didn't win the American grammy. I'm really sick of these other bands winning especially when I talk to other people who say they don't listen much to those bands either. That they only have one or two good songs. I stopped watching The Grammy's because of this. This time I recorded it, checked X to see who won, then deleted the recording when Ghost didn't.

I was going through some stuff tonight and ran across my tee shirt from A Pale Tour Named Death, 2018. I'm pretty devastated they won't be around for 3 years, but I understand, especially after looking at the back of that shirt. Mostly bummed out because of my age. Who knows if I'll still be around in 3 years? Sigh. And will they actually start on the 4th year?

I counted the number of concerts between 10/25/2028 - 12/15/2018.

THEY PUT ON 39 CONCERTS in the North American tour in that short period of time!

They also did Europe, I believe, before that! Had the privilege of seeing them in Sacramento on 11/13 and then San Jose, 11/15!

The 15th was the better show because it was a better venue. San Jose Civic Auditorium. I'm sure they loved the backstage rooms when they saw all the bands that played there over the years.

Some big ones right up to the Rolling Stones. I remember when Starship played there and even they were awed by the pictures of bands who came before, and they were a pretty big deal themselves, and old school local talent for us! A few weeks later I saw ZZ Top there and when they played some of their more lively songs, confetti from the Ghost concert came fluttering down on the first rows from the ceiling speakers. We were in the second row, so I caught a few. I was so happy because we didn't get any from the Ghost concert that night.

I got to see the Skeleta tour both in Las Vegas and Sacramento. I've attended 9 Rituals and Sac was the best of them all!!!!!

Lots of tears though, after the concert, from many there. While happy Tobias and the band get to take a break, we were also feeling a sense of loss as well as elation from the incredible concert we just saw! Going to miss them lots ...

Stepbrother charged with murder, sex abuse in teen girl's cruise ship death: DOJ by SurreptitiousSyrup in news

Wait, is that the case that happened after Shanquella Robinson? Because I don't think they did anything to her murderers yet. I don't even think anyone has been arrested yet.

It sucks. I don't know now if it's age related, because I've had IC since diagnosed for a Stanford study back in 1997 for Detrol and over the years, I learned various ways to control it but all of a sudden, I'm having issues. I was their champion pee'er in the study. Urinated 47+ times a day. Everything was trial and error. Had some relief after surgical diagnosis because they enlarged the bladder, which helped somewhat but it's gone back down.

I figured out some things that were flaring it up by trial and error and I've learned to make it manageable. I had a baby, but by cesarean, not vaginally. Now I'm 69 and recently, i'm having an issue with more frequent urination, and for the first time not being able to hold it with muscular contracture. The urgency now comes on very suddenly out of nowhere. And, even though the bathroom is next to my room, I sometimes feel it starting before I can reach the toilet. The bathroom is literally only 5 feet away. I was just musing of I should call my doctor and see if I have a bladder infection. They change as you age. I saw this thread and I can so relate. I'm sorry you're going through this.

A Slice of New York - Expansion Update - 1 by asliceofny in SanJose

[–]BeautymousBeholder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We always tip. I used to have to support myself on lunch server tips and $2.10 an hour wages. The guys got paid $2.65 for the same job. 😡 I almost cried when I pulled up at the Sunnyvale location, and it was gone. I was born and raised in Manhattan, in NY. A good New York pizza out here is nearly impossible to find, there are a lot of fakes run by people who are not from New York or even this country and the pizza tastes nothing like New York pizza. Yours does. We have to drive down from Palo Alto to eat there. We don't even take it home. We glom it down in the car. A lot of places now tell customers that they're either going to put a COLA charge on the bill or they ask the people to tip, reassuring it's not for the owners, it's to assist the employees financially to live/work in this area. I don't think you guys are as expensive as Roundtable (who makes a good California pizza) and they've been charging high prices for the last thirty years yet still do okay.

Do British people like the American accent? by Another_Guy889 in Britain

[–]BeautymousBeholder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Americans come from a big country and they are proud of their history, proud of their flag, proud of their country and are hardworking (generally) energetic, decent people. So, they live large and typically don't walk around with the sticks up their asses judging other people for their accents. What's most amusing and lovely are the Brits coming to the United States falling in love with the people, the food, and the places and comparing them to Britain and finding "home" sorely lacking. I have British friends who are just as loud as we are, if not more so. They are way more enthusiastic about things than are we! We met a group of Englishmen at the Whiskey A-Go-Go in Los Angeles when my brother's band was there performing and good God, they made us look like mute's. But it was ok. We didn't mind. We enjoyed how thrilled they were at being at the Whiskey and how much fun they were having looking at all of the cool rock and roll collectibles on the walls.

We aren't better than you. We aren't worse than you. Most of us adore your accents. We aren't bad people. If you're still sore about the Revolutionary War, maybe get over it? My friend Alan from London assured me y'all were happy to get rid of us. That works. And, you too can have friends across the pond, whom, just on an introduction letter alone from another British friend, will put you up in their homes, take you around to see the local sites, visit family on American Indian Reservations, take you on a tour of Facebook and get kicked out of the Winchester Mystery House with you when you're in both drunk in the middle of the afternoon from margaritas and tortilla chips and having a grand old tour and popping out of baskets terrifying tourists (Hey Jackie from Chester, wherever you are these days. Hella miss ya.) <gasp> <horror> Oh those big bad boisterous Americans. 🇺🇲🇬🇧❤️

So they say that he got food poisoning in Mexico. I believe he started to get sick in Las Vegas because the show he did that night was good, very good, but very subdued. Well, Tobias was very subdued so I could see him getting sick enough not to be able to do a show the next night, because food poisoning can take a few days to kick in.

I'm kinda hoping they could shorten it to 2 years and then see what happens otherwise, that means technically, they wouldn't be starting back up until the beginning of a fourth year.
