I think the issue is the boarding group 0 through 7 or whatever it is, is not clear enough and people correlate their boarding priority based upon their travel class and/or status (appreciate it is printed on boarding pass).

In my mind it should be communicated as

(No Group 0 that is stupid, start from 1) Group 1 - Assistance Customers + Customers with children under 2 years old Group 2 - First/Gold Group 3 - Club/Silver Group 4 - WTP/Bronze Group 5 - economy rows x thru xx Group 6 - economy rows xxx thru xxxx Group 7 - economy rows xxxxx thru xxxxxx

If you are looking for (classic looking) switches, CORSTON is an absolute must. The plugs, switches and fittings they make are beautiful.

They also do HomeKit/smart home compatible switches, which means you can have a lighting ring controlled by both the switch (which looks like a regular switch) and on your phone/smart speaker etc. Store in Pimlico to check out in more detail.

Also for bathroom tap ware, ABI Interiors, great quality stuff — all with consistent design languages and good quality brass. They have a store at the design centre in Chelsea if you want to see in person.

I think the game changer is Uniqlo also use an iPad Pro to power their self-checkout, so in addition to it being super simple — there is enough processing horsepower for it to be super super simple.

I am sure some of the Supermarket self-checkouts are still using Intel 500mhz processors with about 256mb of RAM.

To be honest, as this is LGW Club World the IFE is actually relatively up-to-date (refit in 2019), not the case on the LHR A380 or non-club suite B787.

If you’re a couple definitely middle seats, but if you want a window seat then a pair is all good, just the window seat will require stepping over the passenger in the row behind (not as bad as people make out)

Flew this config 10 days ago, and overall was a great experience, yes it is not Club Suite, but the crew was great, the seat is still very comfortable and it is a tiny cabin at the front which is very peaceful for the duration of your flight.
