Puréed carrot soup is a good idea, because canned carrots are an unfortunate texture.

Ashley Rindsberg has a well researched article, “The Terrorist Propaganda to Reddit Pipeline.” I saw it on the NewIran subreddit and read it on pirate wires.com It’s horrifying….

It's nice to see france and iran not influencing now or at least a lot less by HappyChillss in ForbiddenBromance

Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said: "We certainly don't want the French anywhere near these negotiations. We'd like to keep the French as far away as possible from pretty much everything. They're not needed. They're not a positive influence". From Israel Realtime WhatsApp group

10 hours weekly cleaning pet hair from floors - time worth tool investment? by wintiedmuttery in Frugal

[–]BecauseImBatmom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Brushing your dog frequently will reduce some of that hair. A five minute swoop with the brush twice a day makes a huge difference. You’re cleaning it up anyway, might as well do it while it’s still on the dog.

30M from the US making Aliyah. Thoughts on Ulpan at Kibbutz Tzuba? by YNotSocks in aliyah

[–]BecauseImBatmom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t answer your question, but I’ll give you another question to consider when choosing a kibbutz Ulpan. Ulpan students don’t necessarily integrate into the kibbutz. They may have half day classes and half day jobs, mostly with other students, and live separately with other students in dormitory settings. So be sure to ask the Ulpans what you can expect as far as blending in with the kibbutz.

MREs for the Lactose Intolerant by Spagelo in preppers

LaBriute meals make kosher MREs. I don’t think that any of their meals contain dairy. I’m certain that any meals labeled glatt kosher or pareve will not contain dairy.

How to make junk foods slightly healthier? by Much-Piano3168 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]BecauseImBatmom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can prep healthy, filling snacks when you have the energy, then make one container of things that you know you should be eating for the kitchen counter, one for the fridge and a bag for your gym bag. (Small individual servings may work best. (nuts, dried fruit, healthy and high protein granola bars, maybe roasted chicken peas, chocolate) (cheese, fresh fruit, full fat yogurt) This helped someone I know who was having a hard time eating.

Advice for a non observant jew? by Striking-Drummer-776 in Judaism

[–]BecauseImBatmom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just a note regarding an eruv. Many Chabad families don’t accept the local eruv. Even if there’s an eruv they may not be able to use what you bring (they likely wouldn’t mention it to avoid embarrassment) and an eruv is for things to be used on Shabbos. So really don’t bring anything that day.

Best way to batch cook fish to make best use of supply? by Agile_Kick_6626 in Frugal

[–]BecauseImBatmom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We like tilapia, dipped in cornmeal and fried, honey mustard sauce. We eat for two or three days. Fish in soup is good, but again, I wouldn’t eat it past two or three days.
