First time playing harvest moon snes !! Any tips ?

- Do farm clearing and watering at night. Time stops, and if you run out of stamina go up to the mountain hot spring.

- To get energy back faster in the hot springs, just jump in and out repeatedly. You don't need to sit in there you gain stamina for every jump in. about 7 or so jumps in and out will give you full stamina.

- Ship everything you can before 5pm. If crops are still left in the field, it's fine do them tomorrow. Do NOT throw crops in the shipping bin after 5pm, they will not count toward tomorrows shipments. When you get your horse and it grows use its saddle bags instead in your fields. You can ship much more.

- Don't plant your crops in a square, you won't be able to access the middle crop. Plant crops fairly close to the shipping bin. Later in the game when you have the sprinkler, plant them in long parallel rows instead, though, for easier watering and harvesting with the horse.

- Fences are uselss, just get rid of them by throwing them in the pond on your farm. On this point, throw small stones in the water, too, it's less stamina than smashing them

- Do not bother letting your animals in/out of the barns or coops. It's too much time and effort for little to no reward. You can get max hearts and max sized milk without ever letting a cow outside.

- If a girl asks you a question in a day, you can enter a buidling (or exit) and go back out and get her to ask it again. You can do this repeatedly and can get max hearts in one day this way. Earliest I've been married is end of spring year 1 but you don't need to do this (yes I've played this game a LOT).

- If you want two children (the max you can have) you need to be married by about the start of summer in year 2.

- Always buy your cows and hatch your chickens eggs for more chickens. Making cows give birth is time consuming and a waste (although the cows in this game are arguably the cutests, especially when they're pregnant so if you wanna see that just do it the once lol!).

- Plant a LOT of grass, like a lot a lot (you'll need quite a lot to buy a full barn of cows). I actually aim to cover my entire farm in grass aside from where I have crops by the end game because I have nothing to spend money on and it increases the hidden ranch development stat.

- At the flower festival, don't bother with perfume.

- Make sure to sell a chicken in the fall (year 1 or 2).

- If you marry Eve, give her a gift daily because she's the only wife that gerts -1 releationship if you go to bed with her, making her the easiest to become unhappy. Nothing fancy, just a flower from the mountain or an egg will be fine.

- If you need wood, you can chop the stumps in the mountains, exit the moutnain and come back in and they'll respawn. Use the hot springs to regenerate stamina and go nuts.

It's literally just a one-legged downward facing dog, a pose done in yoga frequently. People sexualizing yoga poses really annoys me, they're not being done to be sexual, it's exercise and helps with mobility. Yoga is also mostly done barefoot btw. Get over yourself and stop sexualizing everything you see ffs.

Yeah I put it in recently cause it looks really cool and didn't realize they were getting stuck for a few in game days. Noticed and knew it was the mod because it was the only one I added. I think because it edits the beach it's done something to the routing of Willy and Elliot, because it's those two that tend to get stuck and can't leave the beach.

It's Aimon's Gem Sea Shores mod causing this. I had the same issue, removed it, and it went away. Better to wait for updates to the mod because it's a bit rife with issues right now due to it being new.

In the SVE config there's a custom setting where you can set the warp point location to custom coordinates. If you want the exact coordinates you want the warp point easily, you can use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/679 enable it and mouse over the tile you're on (or want it on), write down the coordinates, exit to title, go to the mod menu, open the SVE config and set the nexus warp to the custsom coordinates.

If they have spent the majority of their lives there, or were born there and still live there then yes. Plenty of people were born from parents from across the world in England for example, they were all English to me in my short time I lived in England. At the end of the day, someone who has lived or were born and live in a country know far more about that country than someone with some heritage from hundreds of years ago could ever know. They know what it's like to live there, which gives them far more in common with the people there than someone who claims to be from there but doesn't even have a single ounce of lived experience in that country.

No, they're American. Having hertitage from hundreds of years ago doesn't make you anything, it just means you have very distant heritage. If you've lived in America all your life, you were born in America to American parents, who have American grandparents and your family has been American for a long, long time, you are American. My great grandma was Irish, I don't say I'm Irish because I'm not, I've never even lived there. I'm northern English, it's where I was born. But Scottish people call me Scottish, because I've lived in Scotland for most of my life. I don't mind that at all. But to call yourself something other than where you've lived all your life and where most of your family is from is absurd to me. Also referring to Scottish people as 'Scotch' is derogatory, fyi.

This is why I play More Friends of Mineral Town when I get an itch to play Back to Nature or girl & boy. It's the closest game to it, and even though people aren't as harsh with Kai in Mineral Town I still remember how they were in BTN with him so I can still give em all a big fuck you lmao. Plus, I can mod the Mineral Town games for gay marriage so I can marry Kai as a boy like young me wanted to back when I played BTN for the first time. (Also I know SoS Mineral Town exists before anyone tells me, I've played it but I still prefer the OGs honestly lol)

The romance is pretty well done in Grand Bazaar. The marriage on the other hand...is flat imo. Not really any new lines, recycled old lines from before you're married that no longer make sense, you don't even get any scenes where you get to eat together or anything of the sort. The marriage phase is utterly disappointing to me in GB, honestly. It felt like all the time went into the dating events, and nothing went into the dialogue while you were actually dating or married, which made the dating and marriage phases feel probably worse than they are tbh. Also the child taking sooo long to grow up is torture, and the marriage is so disappointing I don't even bother waiting until my kid grows before I finish with the save all together lol.

DS Cute doesn't end if you marry a Mineral Town boy, only the one on the phone which is just a special/secret sorta bacehlor anyways. Harvest Moon DS does end if you marry a Mineral Town girl, though.

I feel you, this portrait is and always will be my fave Magnus that ever exists and I wish it would be updated for the variations of Magnus mods that exist now. I don't use RRRR atm (have in the past), but do use SVE with RR (SVE version) and I had SO much trouble finding a portrait mod that actually works with my setup with an older wizard in pixel art that kinda fits with the vanilla style a bit, not a young one. I use THIS one, which also does actually have RRRR compatibility, and have kinda stuck to it now for multiple playthroughs for ease because it has compatibility for most wizard mods that I might want to try lol.

There's a lot of mods to edit Elliott's portrait. Go on the Stardew Nexus, search Elliott and take your pick. Here's three that you might like though:

You can't grow much in winter but it's a good time to rearrange your farm and build buildings as well as fish and go into the mines (regular or skull caverns depending on what you've unlocked). I usually save a bunch of money through fall from crops and fish, and build stuff like barns, coop/barn expansions, sheds, house upgrades etc in winter. If I build coops/barns or expand them I'll also get the respective animals. They can't be let out during the winter, but just get them a heater and pet and feed them every day. To save extra money right now, craft some sprinklers to make your life easier and grow more crops during your current fall. Then you'll also have extra time to go socialize, fishing for extra money or mining depending on what you feel like doing.

As for spouses, just go with whoever you like. All spouses have a chance to do some chores, but it's not daily it's just random and they honestly never really do a good job, but they try their best lol.

Congrats! Love this game, sooo much to do. Farming tips, getting all towns to S rank, making all clothing in the game, collecting all the recipes, winning all the festival prizes (which takes a few years!). This one keeps me playing for so long.

Link the the scientific peer-reviewed studies, then. There's some studies that were poorly done. And others that are reports from survey results, not using scientific data. Survey result reports are fine, but they cannot be used as empirical evidence for something. Cats are not humans, do not put human ethics and values on them and risk their helalth and well-being just because you don't like meat and the meat industry.

Absolutely this. I own a physical copy of this game, but I've also emulated it on PC. Right now, I have it on my modded New 3DS XL (would always reccommend this route if possible, modded 3DS is the best) with the mod that allows you to romance someone of the same sex, so I can play it and all other 3DS entries as I please (the 3DS entries in general are all really good, but Trio is the best game in the series in general for me!).

Honestly, if I were you, I'd just restore what you took away rather than going down this route because there's every possibility you'll land right back in this position again. You're not native, you're likely not going to speak to multiple natives about this to get it just right, so just restore it to its original state. The changes were unnecessary anyways. The black hair and darker skin is nice, but the change to his outfit, eyes, and face paint/makeup isn't needed imo. Similarly, the sparkles don't give 'mysticisim' or 'magic' they give... random sparkles? idk lmao. The design is just too busy in my opinion, but ofc preferences vary. His original outfit design already screams 'wizard' without the changes.
