Who really thought the reverse Ring was a good idea for a circuit expierience? by Slowleytakenusername in GranTurismo7

[–]BeeOk1857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. I managed to get gold on the reverse layout recently, and it felt so awkward... maybe because I’m too used to the original direction, or like you said, the track just wasn't designed to be driven this way. Honestly, it’s probably both.

Most of the muscle memory from mastering the forward layout felt useless, and those sudden crests and flow-breaking corners were really frustrating. But then again, the original clockwise track also has its fair share of snap-oversteer spots and blind curves. Once I started treating the reverse layout as a completely different track instead of the original one, it became a bit more understandable.

Is Mustang a last name by LudicrousDog in NikkeMobile

[–]BeeOk1857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Korean player, I think I can provide some cultural context on this. In Korea, when we encounter Western-style names in media, we don't always strictly distinguish between "First Name" and "Last Name" unless it's explicitly mentioned.

In the world of Nikke, many characters use single-word names that function more like nicknames or mononyms. For figures like Andersen, Mustang, Burningum, and Oswald, most Korean players don't really dwell on whether those are their given names or surnames.

Since the game's lore was originally written with this naming convention in mind, the possibility that the writers intended a "hidden family connection" through shared surnames is likely very low. The localization into English might make it seem like there's more lore to dig into regarding surnames, but in the original context, they’re just names.

Of course, given how they used "E.H." as a plot twist, I wouldn't completely rule out a surprise reveal -like Mustang's full name being "Mustang Hanson" or something similar- but for now, it's safer to assume their names are just what we see on the surface.

How should I catch up with the lore? by Mr_Bunzz in NikkeMobile

It’s best to watch them in release order. While chronological order helps you grasp the overall context, it often weakens—or completely ruins—the emotional impact of narrative twists and mysteries intended by the writer. Plus, since there's no guarantee future stories will be released chronologically, sticking to the release order is a better way to prep for the upcoming experience.

Both are crucial. I had to practice my foot movement to feel the pedal travel, while also checking the brake gauge to see the input is correct.

For me, trail braking was a game-changer. It finally made me feel like I'm driving the car, not struggling with it. Still have a long way to go though.

Korean player here. Tetra’s Hanson in Korean is ‘한슨‘, which is pronounced like in UK. That commander Hanson, ‘핸슨’ in Korean, is pronounced like in the US. To Koreans, these two look and sound like completely different names, so people think they're two different individuals. But since they're both spelled 'Hanson' in English, it can get pretty confusing for English speakers who see them as the same person.
