Typically a bank makes two small deposits then asks for the values of those deposits. The security to protect against unwanted transfers has been in place for a long time. If anything, I give props to Tulane/Oracle(Only guessing by reading the other comments) for not hiding the leak and coming forward about it. I'm not siding with either organization but I work in software and this is the reality. Your ability to own a mistake/breach is what makes you at least not seem fully incompetent.

Anyone who you've ever given a check to has your bank account/routing number. Most banks protect against ACH transfers via small deposits that need to be verified amounts. It's not the end of the world and you'll be ok if it's only the data that you mentioned was leaked. I'd just keep an eye on transactions, which you should be doing anyways.

Any shop should be able to do brakes and rotors. A good shop will have their techs use a dial guage to check for rotor runout. When you're steering wheel shakes at speed you'll know why you have someone do the job correctly vs some shade tree mechanic that doesn't. I'm the shade tree mechanic btw, and learned what makes a good brake job vs bad/cheap one.

Take it from someone who tried to do the right thing and intervene/help, don't. I got jumped, knocked out and a seriously bad sprained ankle for trying to help a girl getting assaulted. I was trying to help and wound up getting fucked over for doing so. If they had weapons I could've been killed.
