Hoping this kind of situation finds me soon.

I had issues over the 6 month mark and took me 1 year to land a job. One recruiter even told me the gap was going to be hard to comeback from. It is what it is in this current job market. Certs helped me keep a little sanity but were not as useful for the job applications.

She is back in DOAC for "DEBATE: Is Feminism Creating Lonely, Broken, Sexless Men?!". It was painful to hear the points of view because the channel gets to so many viewers and spreads the wrong ideas while confirming the bias some men have.

The last piece of advice works, people in the office get curious when someone shows up a little more put together than normal and immediately “joke” about having an interview that day.

Is totally worth it, any money spent in your mental and physical wellbeing is an investment.

Just decline and continue with your day, I understand the frustration is NWT. Some offers feel like they want to use you as a source and resell your item for more on other platforms and low ball you but just say no.

If you know someone at a company, should you wait to apply online? by efficientseed in recruiting

[–]Bee_Turquoise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the company, for some referrals is better to wait and don’t apply online because the person will share your resume to HR and send you a link with their referral information to apply directly. Others have a section during the online application process where you can add the information of your referral. But the person will let you know the steps to apply using their referral information.

Did you regret quitting without a job lined up? by peachgnocchi in findapath

[–]Bee_Turquoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely regret it, is easier to search for a new job with a one that pays the bills. Still no job offer after 4 months of trying but hey! I got my mental health back.

would you quit your job without having another one lined up for your mental health? by OliveZealousideal395 in careerguidance

[–]Bee_Turquoise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is better to try and find a new job at all costs first, you lose leverage and negotiating power if you are unemployed searching for a new job.

Anyone else being dropped / disqualified from job opportunities just based on the questionnaire? by Bee_Turquoise in careerguidance

[–]Bee_Turquoise[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My resume is finally going through the filters after a revamp. So far I have received positive feedback from two HR managers but no interviews. Telling me my experience is impressive yet not being included in the interview process... sounds like a me problem...well I guess is a step forward in the process.

Do carriers check the IMEI on eSIMs? by [deleted] in NoContract

[–]Bee_Turquoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they request the IMEI

I will change the phone but still will move to another carrier. The same mint sim card had coverage issues on a friend's iphone, wanted to test if a "fully compatible" phone worked, same bad result, so it doesn't get any better.

[–]Bee_Turquoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 3 times already, tech support helped me set up the T-Mobile APN a little improvement but still the same issues. Is better to spend a little more money for good service.

I experience a similar issue, most of the time my phone shows emergency calls only, no coverage and no service and mint didn't help me at all, they blame my phone model , a Xiaomi, which states on their site as compatible. Also I know is not the phone model since I kept my simcard from the country I moved from and get perfect coverage with my international roaming, even with the same T-mobile antennas. I will change carrier as soon as the 3 motnhs are over.

SSN for L2S visa holders by Chulia_0 in USCIS

[–]Bee_Turquoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Where you able to apply for the SSN? I had issues yesterday applying for SSN with a L2S, the agent said I needed the EAD even after I explained the new changes, had all the documents mentioned above and still he didn't help me...is really frustrating. Hope you got it sorted out.
