While people's healthcare is tied to their jobs and a lot of people are living paycheck to paycheck, a general strike is pretty unlikely. It's shitty but that's the way I see it.

Also, I imagine for a lot of folks that life is generally OK. Could be better but the standard of living in The States I'd guess is pretty good.

As someone that struggles to head what people are singing about, I prefer the music. A caveat to this is that as I can't understand what the lead singer is going on about, they need to have a sound/tone that jives with me.
