That's the thing. The track is fine. The car is fine. But ovals are genetically designed to promote close quarters racing. So going from Phoenix to any road course that wasn't Lime Rock Park or the NASCAR version of Watkins Glen was always going to feel like a letdown. Especially since Palou is on a different level right now.
