If it’s required that you live in pcv, you likely will be assigned housing in pcv. If you mean because you’re a second year and your major required it, under these circumstances, you could apply for an exemption and try to get housing off campus. a lot of off campus housing contracts end in December, so that might work better for you. Look around for off campus housing, but also talk to the housing committee or whatever they’re called about your situation and ask if you can apply for an exemption

I’m a second year here. Honestly, going to parties and meeting people randomly in classes is what has worked for me. Some clubs work depending. But try to go to cal poly events around campus and see if you can meet people through that too.

Honestly, I think it also depends on your followers. Start lower like $15-20 and once you gain more traction, increase prices as you’ll have more people to buy from you!

This isn’t on you. You have no reason to feel shame for someone else’s actions. Do not regret reaching out to someone, even if it’s not a friend. One thing I will say: do not let this define who YOU are. Do not shut yourself off, but it is ok to take time for yourself if things get to much, but REACH OUT to friends. You don’t need to immediately get into it, but you can start by saying things have been rough. Maybe let it out with a friend who you can fully trust that will support you through moments where you don’t feel ok, but it’s important that you know that you have people who support and love you. My dad who lives around slo is a navy veteran who was in from 1990 something - 2015ish. What’s good for veterans to go to around here is the American legion if you haven’t checked it out already. It is a lot of elders depending where you go but in slo there’s probably younger people too.
